My stay of three nights at the Arm Hotel was a pleasure. The location of the hotel, within a 5 or 10 minute walk to the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and the Blue Mosque, was perfect for getting to these popular places early enough to beat the more crowded times. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful with advice, and willing to take the time to make sure I was getting good answers to questions, even with those staff whose English is less fluent. The view from the restaurant was as advertised, and the food choices were very good. In the early evening, there were loud, joyful performances with people in costume that geared for tourists in the small park just next to the hotel. These performances never went into the later evening and the neighborhood was quiet during sleeping hours. My visit was in early March, and things may be different during peak tourist season, or outside of Ramadan. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, even friends and family.

Rooms match the neighborhood. The service was so good I didn’t care much about the room. Ozan the bellman wA definitely my great person there. He was kind, went out of his way and made me feel at home. The manager Nejati was very professional and gave us exceptional service. Front desk- Murat made we got a room that was good for 3 people. Suleiman in the coffee shop made great hookah’s.. So this place is not fancy or modern but it’s all about service.. They will treat like a 5 star VIP.

Location is top notch and absolutely lovely staff! Literally 2 minutes to everything, you can see the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque from the restaurant terrace while having the lovely breakfast (included). The rooms themselves need a bit of refresh, a bit dated but such a nice and helpful staff that make your stay super comfortable. They made sandwiches for our 3 AM departure :)

Good Location
Great Location metres from Sophia Mosque. Breakfast is plentiful if you are European. As Australians, we did not find anything that we could eat...not even normal bread to make toast. I couldn't get Yoghurt & fresh fruit. Restaurant seemed popular at night but the cost was more than double of what we pay on OZ. Room was OK but the Hotel is dated and the staff struggle with English. I found it disturbing that apart from a cleaner, there were no Female staff. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but people need to be prepared for the negatives.

Magnificent view
This hotel has the most awesome view of Haga Sophia. You can see this landmark building up close right from your room. I am convinced no other hotel has a better view of the Haga Sophia. I enjoyed my stay tremendously. The room was attractively furnished , very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English eloquently. The breakfast room had a splendid view. But it was the view from the room that thrilled me - the rooms have a ceiling to floor window which gives you a mind blowing view.

The hotel does not honor the room you book. Even if you confirm with the hotel and you think you are getting a room with a balcony and view of hagia sofia, you are very likely not. You have been warned.

Perfect location and very friendly staff
The Hotel location is superb. About 3 minutes’ walk to Aya Sofia and 7 minutes’ walk to the Blue mosque. The breakfast and all the restaurant staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We booked the hotel for 3 nights but extended another 3 days after cancelling our Taksim area Hotel reservation. We felt safe and went several times a day and walk towards the places of interest in the Sultan Ahmed area. I recommend the hotel for people staying for three nights to discover the historical sites of Istanbul without the taxi hustle. I will definitely come back to the same hotel, if I decide to revisit Istanbul. Great location for touristing -- right behind the Hagia Sophia, which is so amazing. People were VERY NICE. Didn't go to the restaurant, but the view looked great! Problems: the walls are SO thin, you can hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. I have literally never stayed anywhere with walls that thin. Luckily there was no one staying in the room next to us, but I could hear every move the housecleaners made when they were in that room tidying and such. Good thing we didn't have neighbors at night. Yikes. The air conditioning in our room was really bad. The room was so hot -- and the construction noise from across the street was far too loud for us to open the doors. We asked the front desk to check it out while we went out for the day, but when we came back, nothing was different. It was an uncomfortable night. The rooms themselves are rather rundown and the room we had (Panoramic with King) had a full sized bed, not a King and the room was TINY. The balcony overlooking Hagia Sophia was lovely, though -- and the people at the desk were all super nice. I'm a pretty laid back traveler, but this one disappointed compared to the other hotels we stayed in during our Istanbul/Turkey trip.

The location can't be much better for proximity to major sites - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and Basilica Cistern. The area. has plenty of eating options across the range of prices. Shopping nearby. Transportation nearby. It is a bustling area during the day, but quiet at night. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The Wifi and bit spotty in my location at the far end of the hotel. The staff were excellent. Friendly and accomodating. I can't wait to get back to Istanbul, and I would definitely consider staying at the And Hotel again.

This hotel is right in the centre of Sultanamet, fabulous location. We had a room with a view of Hagia Sophia. The restaurant (breakfast room) is on the top floor and has 270 degree views - really nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was being woken by the call to prayer from the Blue Mosque but that was a small price to pay for the fantastic location (and it’s likely that anywhere central will have the same issue!)

Ok stay but they have NO KING Beds
There were a few hiccups...biggest ones being no King bed as I had purchased (they dont have any!) and AC was not up to par. We had to leave our terrace open to sleep comfortably. The staff was as helpful as possible. The location is central, view is amazing of hagia sofia, good breakfast and bedding was comfortable.

Staff was very nice and helful -The room was fine - two twin beds with normal size bathroom - it was quiet w/ AC and Wi-fi - a couple of minor odd notes - the lighting at the beds was on a shelf a couple of feet above the bed and there were no top sheets - just a summer blanket. The Dininig Room was wondeful with a great breakfast and stunning view of Hagia Sofia from the terrace. Location was ideal. I would book again

Service is brilliant. Very attentive and friendly. Location is spectacular, perfect location for walking, there is also a lift which helps as we travelled with my elderly parents. I would recommend this hotel with the water views of the Bosphorus and the breeze was sensational

Great to see both haya Sofía and blue mosque
Great location to see the haya Sofía and blue mosque from wonderful terrace of hotel restaurant Nice hotel and a great variety for breakfast buffet with all types of local cheeses. Highly recommended.

Nice convenient hotel.
location is very convenient to the any historical and transportation places.There is very big window and nice, clean room.Wi-Fi was little bit slow.The view from the restaurant on the top of the hotel is amazing.
