“Friendly attentive service”

Excellent location across the street from Hagia Sophia. The view from the 5th-floor terrace restaurant is spectacular and the food is good as well. The hotel staff is friendly, obliging and knowledgable. Everything is modern, clean and well-maintained. Only drawback is that most rooms are small. Will stay at Hotel And next time. John

“Very good - would go back.”

This hotel was very good. The room was a bit on the small side but was clean and comfortable, had hot water and great views over the Haga Sofya from my room. The location was very central to the attractions and the reception staff also spoke very good English.

“Good hotel in a good spot”

We had a great room at the front of the hotel with a view of the Mosque. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is very close to many of the attractions, restaurants, shopping and the tram so it is easy to get around. We enjoyed our stay here,

This is a really good hotel, the staff was friendly and courteous, room was fine. Location is excellent, steps to the cisterns and Sophia. A few blocks to the hippodrome mall and blue mosque area. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate. My only beef was the limp air conditioning in the summer, didn't quite have the kick needed to get the room temp down to comfort level for north americans. When I return to Istanbul will certainly stay here again, great location and value for the money.

“Location, location, location!”

I had a great stay at the And Hotel. The hotel is in a fantastic location in Sultanahmet near all the main sites including the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya . I was able to walk to most places and rarely used public transport or taxis. The staff were really helpful and attentive. It was my first visit to Istanbul and I was travelling alone and they made me feel very at home and comfortable. When I arrived I wasn't happy with my room. I'd booked a standard single room and it was so small I couldn't open my suitcase! I spoke to the hotel manager and he moved me to a bigger room at no extra charge. I lost my view (the hotel has incrediable views) but I had more space. I would highly recommend the And Hotel, it's great value for money. I would certainly stay again.
