Friendly Hotel, Great Location.

Posted Jun 27, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, spotless room, great breakfast.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Close to Sultanahmet square and all the sights around the old city. Also near to public transport links.
We enjoyed our stay at the Arena. The location was excellent, so close to many major sights, Blue Mosque, Basilica cistern, Aya Sophia, all 10 minutes away. Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar 15-20 minutes walk. Only ate breakfast in hotel, but this was very good, lovely fresh crusty bread, various jams, cheeses, cold meats etc. As well as cereals, hot and cold pastries, boiled or scrambled eggs and fruit-all fresh and very good. Our room was in the new extension to hotel, and although there was no view and the room was compact, it was beautifully decorated, huge bed, and a gorgeous en-suite. Plenty of storage, well equipped mini fridge (extra charge), tea and coffee making tray and spotlessly clean. Hotel staff were lovely, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely clean public areas and a nice covered courtyard for breakfast ( staff at breakfast were great) Old cobbled streets leading to main street, a little steep for some, but you are in the old part of the city, so adds to the character. Excellent short city break, would certainly stay here again, very good value for what we paid.

Hübsches Hotel in idealer Lage

Posted Jun 3, 2015

Excellent service, Excellent Location, Friendly.

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Family friendly Hotel, Excellent location for all attractions. Clean rooms and good food and Breakfast. 24 hour Reception.
Cons: None.
Location: Great location, Blue Mosque is few mins walk across the Hippodrome. High street with the Tram nearby all good shops/cafe, Galata tower two stops.
Arena Hotel is a great family run Hotel with excellent location, only minutes walk from the main sites and the Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Museums, the tram line is also only few minutes walk through the hippodrome, you can take to visit the Galata Tower which is a must and gives you excellent view of the City from the top. The tram is easy to use which is very convenient. All eating places are nearby and the Hotel has reception open 24 hours. There is also a small mini market called Sultan Ahmet nearby if required, this is great for families. Just after the hippodrome on the main high street to the left you have McDonalds, Starbucks, and Pharmacy if required as well as multiple other shops and eating places, this is the tourist area and everything needed is available. Don't forget the Cable car ride, take a boat, great view from the top. The hotel offers good choice of food menu and Breakfast also has variety and choice available. The staff is very helpful, cheerful and welcoming, the hotel itself is a nice clean place, Room was fitted with fully functioning AC, and excellent room condition with large bed with jacuzi bath and excellent shower facility. The room service was provided every day. Excellent service, Excellent Location, Great friendly staff. Highly recommended

A Warm Welcome

Posted Jun 2, 2015
We arrived late evening & were welcomed & shown to our rooms promptly so we still had time to go out for a few hours. Breakfast was a good choice of buffet food & helpful staff. We were talked through all the nearby attractions & where to eat. Room was attractive & bed very comfortable, Only complaint was the noise of the seagulls early in the morning. Great location to get to the main sites & lovely quiet restaurants away from the crowds.

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Personeel, klantvriendelijkheid, locatie
Personeel is ontzettend klantvriendelijk; niets is teveel.
