“Simple, but perfect. Good breakfast too.”

We had a triple room on the 4th floor, which had a view of just the top of Hagia Sophia, which was a nice surprise. I think the rooms on the other side have a decent view of Blue Mosque, which would have also been nice. The room was a bit small, but not uncomfortably so, and it made up for it by being otherwise perfect. All the little details (where most Turkish hotels and buildings just fall apart) were flawlessly executed. The rain showerheads, the neat, clean cabinetry work in the bathroom, the wall-mount loo, double-pane windows, easy-to-work thermostat, nice-looking furniture, good wi-fi connection---little things, really, totally made the room. At the price point, I'd have expected some bare wires, maybe a loose chunk of marble on the steps, wobbly railings, or at least a few burnt out bulbs, but Hotel Aristocrat didn't show so much as a crack in the plaster. Probably helps that it's newly renovated, but I was impressed anyway. The breakfast was pretty standard for a Sultanahmet hotel, although they did have simit in the bread basket, which not all hotels do. And the staff was wonderful, but I think you'll find that people are generally very helpful all across Turkey.

“Perfect location in Sultanahmet for a couple”

The location was perfect if you are looking to spend time in Sultanahmet. My wife and I found the hotel very charming and the staff was extremely nice. The room was simple, but nice and the bed was comfy. Great water pressure in the shower. When my wife and I go back to Istanbul, we will stay here again.

“Fantastic new hotel in Sultanahmet”

The Aristocrat hotel is fantastic. It's in the absolute perfect location for touring Istanbul and is incredibly fresh and clean. The room has everything you need, including a very strong A/C and fantastic rain shower head. It is the closest possible hotel to both the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, as well as less than 5 min walk to a tram stop. Definitely stay here.

“Great location, great hotel :)”

The location of Aristocrat hotel is as good as it gets for a busy, touristic, sightseeing stay located within a 5 min walk from many main attractions. The lobby is tiny and the rooms are small but extra clean and pleasant and seems to be new, the breakfast was nice and more to the continental side than traditional food but served in a nice place and very friendly atmosphere. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The drawbacks are the small size of the room and ours lacked a good view other than that all was on the good side.

“Clean new hotel, no real king size bed.”

The hotel is newly build and rooms are very clean. It is located in the best part of Istanbul. walking distance to all major attraction. The breakfast was fair. The main problem is that the rooms are very small and the king beds are just two double beds put side by side. overall I recommend this hotel to everyone.

“Excellent location”

Wonderful location, inconsistent electricity, nice bathroom, could offer more Western breakfast items.
