Close to where you want to bePosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: The breakfast provided by lady up on the terrace was excellent. She made a fresh omlet and turkish coffee for me every day. It provided a great start.
Cons: The shower was pretty small.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Sophia Haglia, and Topkapki palace and he metro station is around the corner, very convenient
The hotel is a low budget place with no frills. The price matched the quality provided, but I didn't go there to stay in the room all day. It was clean even though the place looked a little rough around the edges. There are nice street front cafe's right outside the hotel. The location is excellent and most of the sights are within walking distance, the central location is the real attaction as well as the price.

Great location and super helpful staff!Posted Nov 11, 2013
Atlantis hotel is in a great location. It is very close to Sultanahmet tram station (2 mins walking), Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and Basilica Cistern (3-5 mins walking). Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace Museum is also in a walking distance (10-15 mins). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They speak perfect English and were willing to assist me with all my questions. We had free WiFi all the time in our room and I enjoyed the breakfast especially the omelet ( you need to ask for it). Room was not luxurious. It had basics but was clean and bed was very comfortable. Disadvantages: no lift ( hotel staff carried my luggages to my room without me even asking for help), and it might be noisy in the evenings.

Great Location and brilliant staffPosted Jul 1, 2013
Cons: small rooms
Location: can't beat it
Great hotel. The staff are all wonderful without exception. Helped us settle in and were very accommodating. Always free for a chat and advice. The location is second to none for exploring Sultanahmet and the more distant sites with the tram station 50 yards away. The rooms are relatively small but comfortable. Wifi and a computer for communal use are also provided. Local restaurants are open till midnight but are a bit pricey, overnight the area is quite. Wholeheartedly recommend, just one thing to bear in mind is that there is no lift, but I'm nitpicking now.

Seen better daysPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a great location, although you may be hassled to go into one of the surrounding restaurants. Our room had some curtains missing we were told we would be moved the next day as they were full. In the end they added a few more curtains. They were not the 'black out blinds' they advertise, nor was there tea and coffee in the reception. The room was clean. It had not been decorated since the 1970's judging by the curtain fabric. However, the staff were friendly and did not charge us for leaving our bags at reception whilst we went out for the day

Sultanhmet--why go elsewhere?Posted Jun 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Atlantis staff were SUPER esp. Custom egg maker in the AM--"Wulia"! The location of the hotel was AMAZING too. The hotel itself was a little dingy/rundown though. No bugs or dirty linens, but lots of yanks wouldn't appreciate the conditions overall.

Very Good standards no complaintsPosted Jun 1, 2013
Pros: hot shower after long and busy walk around town and the breakfast buffet style. Air con in room for those hot nights
Cons: the wifi had a weak connection, spiralling stair case and no lifts
Location: Very good location.3 mins away from the blue mosque, round the corner from Mc Donalds and lastly has a local shop just outside the main entrance.
Good Standard of cleanliness, very helpful staff and a special thanks to the breakfast lady 'Hurya'. She takes interest in customers, one of the days i woke up with a bit of a cold and she made me an omelettes, worked wonders. Each room had: on board toilet and shower with dryer air con mini-fridge (very handy) wifi connection on each floor (strongest connection near the stairs) room cleaned every day side table with telephone radiators (didn't use coz it was very hot) cupboard with quilts and hangers wall mounted mirror with a shelf under mirror tv daily changes/replenishment of: towels and soaps+shampoo and all dissatisfaction dealt very quickly in our case we were a family of 8 and needed 3 rooms and 2 rooms were on the same floor and one on the 3rd so we asked for a change of rooms and by availability found 1 on the same floor. 2nd issue was my fathers room door wouldn't unlock easily and so in a matter of mins a maintenance man called over for repair.

Great location, good rates, very helpful service. However it could do with a bit of investment to upgrade the decor.
