Great location. Comfortable stay.
Comfortable stay. My room was fine and had the basic comforts. The hotel staff is friendly. The hotel location is fabulous! Walking distance to many of the must see sights. There are also many wonderful Restaurants in the area. Would stay there again.

Could be so much better
Good location. Breakfast needs improvement. First room stuffy and some plugs, lights and tv was not working. Asked for a new room next morning. Staff very helpful. New room had half a shower door in bathroom. Lots of loose fittings. Hotel has potential but needs lots of upkeep

PERFECT PLACE
Hotel was located in a perfect location. Everything you wanted to visit was walking dostance you can’t ask for anything better. Staff was great. Breakfast was delicious!!

It was nice location but but my one had if you on the wall the sheets are not that clean it was missing the plinth at the front door and the walls were a bit damaged I want two days for breakfast at 9 o’clock and I was practically nothing left for anyone to eat

Brilliant stay in Istanbul, the staff went above board in their level of service. Hotel in centre of Fitah and all historical sites in walking distance. Highly recommended, and will be back soon.

Good location friendly staff but room was poor
I enjoyed the friendliness of the hotel staff and the location however the room we had there was no view a basement like room which was not stated on the website couldn't tell whether it was daylight or night outside. I could hear the neighbours at night which was disturbing.

I have had good expectations about this hotel due to high overall hotel score but I was really surprised. My impression: -Hotel room was much smaller than advertised. My hotel room in Budapest was only 14sm but was still bigger than claimed 20sqm room. -Room was dirty and had to be cleaned again, hair on bed side, bathroom cabinet and one inch of dust on a wardrobe -Worst breakfast I have had in my entire hotel experience and I travel fair a bit. -Hotel was renovated during our stay but it wasn't even mentioned when I booked hotel on hotels.com So, we had to keep blinds and windows close at all time since hotel was covered in scaffolding Positives Awesome location Hotel staff was helpful

Hotel well Situated in Old City
Very nice hotel in the old city, very close to restaurants, shops, Blue Mosque and other main attractions. Grand Bazaar and Spice market within walking distance. Hotel staff very good and helpful. Breakfast good in bright room with a view. Good value for money.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful in introducing the room facilities and explaining the services they can provide, including tour guide and airport transfer services. However, the hotel itself is small and old. Breakfast was quite undesirable with few choices. My room does not have a window either, which was not expected.

Great location, quiet and friendly.
Three couples just spent 2 nights here and loved the location near to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and a tram station just around the corner. Its in a very quiet street with many restaurants 100 metres away. The accommodation is modern style, and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was adequate but not extensive. Coffee was good.

This is the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel. the staff are very friendly & the hotel it self is very close to Blue mosque Hagia_Sophia & all the major attractions. Sultanhamet Tram station is only 2 min walk. top marks for this hotel

Very helpful staff who make immediate and reliable transportation and tour arrangements, restaurant suggestions, activity suggestions - you name it! More than the facility itself, the staff there made our experience truly memorable, they really took care of us! We stayed two nights, were out of town for two, came back for another night -- the treatment was the same, courteous, professional, helpful, service oriented. The rooms were clean - the layout of the room was peculiar in one case - but certainly clean and comfortable, good wifi connections, quick response for anything we wanted. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well with a view of the top of the key sights from the room. Very good overall!

It was not bad, few things made it bad sometimes, air con was not working, tv is limited, internet connection had alot of problems every night . Anyway, perfect location, confort bed, it will be perfect for u if ur planing to sleep only in the hotel and spend the whole day out, dont take any room in the fourth floor because u will be annoyed by people on the roof during breakfast time

The hotel was within walking distance to all tourist attractions. Staff was helpful and very nice. They all spoke English. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was extensive in the selections and roof top had partial view of Hagia Sophia. I will stay there again. I stayed there by myself and the room had two twin beds.

My experience was very nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the only suggestion i would have is that they need to extend their indoor dining facilities for breakfast as when I sat outside due to insuficient room indoors, a seagull decided to fly off with my breakfast that i had so nicely prepared. but overall i would recommend this hotel to friends.

Ayasultan Hotel had many positive qualities. The front desk staff were amazing! Extrememly helpful and friendly, spoke very good English. The location of the hotel was also great. Within walking distance to all of the sights in Old Town. The breakfast was good and the rooftop terrace was quite lovely with a nice view of the city. The rooms were small but very clean and comfortable with private bathrooms. HOWEVER, we stayed at the hotel in MAY 2014 and there was construction in the hotel immediately next door. The noise started promptly at 8am and one night did not stop until almost midnight. If you have interest in booking this hotel, which I would do again, call in advance to make sure the construction is completed. The noise was problematic and unfortunate.
