“GREAT Location Fantastic Staff”

OK I must admit the first half of the day I was disappointed. It was a small room but I read that it would be so I somewhat expected that. Then I took a walk. I walked the short distance to the beach and turned left.... BIG mistake... Nothing to see if you turn left on the Beach unless you have small children. there is a playground that direction. Here is what saved the day and my opinion of this stay... Go out of the hotel turn right, then another right then left. This will take to to a local shopping area filled with all sorts of food and things you may want to purchase at local prices. Keep going and you will find 2 malls in short walking distance that will have everything you need. BEST OF ALL.... The people in the area are very friendly and will help you if they can. hard to find English speakers but they get the job done with a smile. I was given some free dog toys I wanted to purchase by the shop owner in the mall. I told the one guy who spoke English that I wanted to pay and they insisted I take them as a gift. HOTEL STAFF... "Barful" was at the receptiona nd was fantastic to work with. She answered and assisted me many times in my short stay. The manager also was great as well as the Kitchen, Bar and Resturant staff. The Staff and location makes this place a great place to stay. So, expect a very small room. Expect the staff to work hard to make your stay a great one. They made me breakfast at 330am! Where else would you find that?

“Good airport stopover”

Stayed 1 night on IST airport stopover. Very friendly staff. Hotel was clean. Room was plain but clean and everything worked. Breakfast was very good. Neighborhood is ok, off beaten path a bit, but pleasant walk to shopping area. Walked back at night and no safety concerns. Somewhat noisy at night but not a problem with closed windows and a/c. I will use it again.

“Good hotel”

The only problem was the smoke and smell of cigarets..... But this is around the country, so its nothing they can do. The rest, a good stay, close to the airport. Taxi cost 25 TL ( 12 USD) one way.

“Short Stay.”

The rooms were nice. Location is good as it is near the market where all the essentials are available. The negative part of the hotel was the bathrooms. It was too small. One can not stand inside the shower cubicle to take shower and fittings were too old. After a long day or in the morning you need a good bath but it became a task.

The staff were very slow at the reception and it took a long time to photocopy the passports, get us the keys, and there were 4 men standing around the reception area doing nothing which was highly unprofessional. After our check in experience, we went in the small elevator and were pleasantly surprised to find our room close to the elevator and soundproof walls. The room is an adequate size, the bathtub is extremely high, and the water pressure is very good. Watch out for climbing into the tub!the room was clean, served its purpose or a 1 night stay, and is a 15 minute cab ride to the airport.
