Inaccurate description

Pros: The authentic Turkish interiors.
Cons: Attention to detail.
Location: Not an area I would be happy to walk around at night. We went out to dinner by taxi.
The hotel is in an unattractive back street and does not have clear views over the Sea of Marmaris. The interior was very dimly lit, including reception as if power was being conserved. The atmosphere in the small bar area was similarly dull; they actually played the "Funeral March" as piped music! The rooms were tiny. We had defective minibars and air conditioning. At 5:00 am, it sounded as if breakfast was being set in the lobby area below our rooms; very noisy. I reserved a wake up call and taxi due to an early ferry commitment. Both were written in the reception action book. Neither happened.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. Roof terrace was closed which was disappointing.

Close to Blue Mosque and cheaper good eateries

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Aircon perfect bed comfortable
Cons: Ambiance in public areas if anything, the light went out auto and PIR's to click them on as you walk the corridors.
Location: Short walk to everywhere to seemed, Tram, Blue Mosque, Sophia, basically on outskirt of Sultanamet. Bit of a hill to climb though.
Spent little time in Hotel as City has much to offer, Breakfast plentiful and staff friendly.

Antea "palace?" & Spa

First room I was shown smelled of damp....second room had several significant "dips" in the floor, and the third room I was given was acceptable. Many problems initially with wifi. If you want to visit the Blue Mosque and don't mind walking 15 mins, and then the Grand Bazaar (25 mins), then this location is not too bad. Situated in front of a small "five a side" pitch which is used till after midnight, therefore be prepared for shouting and the noise of a football hitting the enclosure. Amenities are basic and staff are friendly enough. More description of what is being served for breakfast would be useful. In general, the overall appearance is rather tired looking.

Good place to stay

Pros: Lovely staff. Good location and lots to do in the evening. Lovely shops bars and restaurants at reasonable prices.
Cons: Internet wifi access. Breakfast - think of us brits!!
Location: Close to Blue Mosque. Walking distance to Grand Bizarre and Galati bridge and about £6/7 to Baltic and Galati bridge if tired after looking around,
Very helpful staff and good location. Pool disappointing - photographs make it look much bigger than it is. Fabulous helpful staff. Roof terrace very nice with flinty of beds to sunbathe and ok views. Football court opposite so tended to spoil the evening peace.
