Well located and good views

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: 1. The breakfast buffet could offer a greater variety - same for 11 days. 2. Offer a child free floor to people was woken a few time by screaming.
Hotel is well located close to grand bazaar, blue mosque etc. The restaurant on the roof has a great view of the surrounding area and the sea, the food is reasonable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

perfect location for exploring the city

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Location: Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Haghia Sophia are a few tram stops away. Really recommend Suleymaniye Mosque, beautiful and calm and Basilica cistern.
Went for a short city break of just 3 nights so the pressure was on to see everything we wanted to. The hotel is a very short walk from the Grand Bazaar and the fantastic tram system which makes exploring the city's attractions very easy and cheap, 4TL per trip. Hotel was lovely and clean and we really enjoyed the sun terrace and the pool at the end of a long day in the city. Breakfast was fairly typical with a choice of local food and the normal toast, fruit, meat etc. Can't fault the staff, they were all really professional and polite and their English was good which is always a bonus. Didn't eat in either restaurants as we wanted to try local restaurants. Did use the pub once to watch a World Cup match, it is an English themed pub which we wouldn't have normally tried but it was nice enough and convenient! Our trip was during Ramadan, this did not cause us any difficulty and there were lots of local celebrations going on which made it more interesting. If you go at this time would recommend visiting the Blue Mosque after sunset as the atmosphere was amazing - hundreds of locals met to eat and there was a real party feeling. Be prepared for the heat, little breeze and no clouds! Knees and shoulders must be covered to enter mosques (men and women) however they do have cloaks that are given out as you enter if your dress is not acceptable.

Excellent location

No doubt the hotel is located in one of the best spots in istanbul. The staff wasn't as nice this time. The room did not have toiletries however they sent us after a couple of calls. Maybe is just the culture. But overall will go back to the hotel.

Great location very good hotel

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Breakfast lots of lovely fruit, cheese, breads and meats. Staff very attentive 1ltr of bottled water in room every day. No faults Location the best.
Cons: Coffee and tea at breakfast, but that is very picky!
Location: Very easy walk to Hagia Sofia, topkapi palace, grand bazaar and blue mosque, took us less than 10 mins. Tram just 2mins away.
Reception staff very pleasant, even at midnight!! Also they were great at arranging breakfast at 4.45am for our early departure. I will recommend this hotel to any one who is taking a sight seeing break in Istanbul, pool very refreshing after a hot day sight seeing and lovely sun terrace great views. Hotel very clean, and plenty of places to eat and drink in hotel. I will return to this hotel again when I next visit Istanbul.

Very good location for local transport

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Location, Staff and cleanliness.
Location: The tram connection is very close to the hotel which makes it very easy to visit Sultanahmet area for visiting Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc.
We recently stayed at this hotel. The location is very good, although the street can be challenging. All the staff we came into contact were very friendly and helpful, particularly the Trainee staff. The hotel is exceptionally clean. We were only able to have dinner once on the Terrace restaurant, because it was closed in the evening for Ramadan, but the meal and service we received was very good. We would certainly recommend this hotel

Great Hotel and Location.

Pros: Locallity to everything. Also the Hotel itself is very good. Meals are excellent.
Hotel is in a great location. Just near the Grand Bazzaar and the Tram/Train Station. Shopping is really good, and many of the nearby shops are very cheap.
