Great hotel, perfect location, and amazing staff!Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast, separate sleeping and living spaces, great location
Cons: Shower water could be hotter (yeah, that's the only criticism I can think of)
Location: Great location near the major sites, restaurants and shopping
Our family of four, including 2 young children, spent 3 nights at this fantastic hotel. The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful people you'll ever meet. We live in Europe and travel around a lot and this by far our most positive experience with hotel staff. Hotel location is perfect, within very easy walking distance of the major sites as well as the city tram system. Many restaurants and shops right outside. The hotel only has 16 rooms/suites and ours was a nicely kept one bedroom. While it was modest in size, it did have a separate living room--very difficult to find in Europe in this price range. Breakfast was great with lots of different dishes to try and the staff made us fresh omelets and coffee to order each morning. Overall, a great hotel, a good value and worth giving a shot.

GREAT LOCATIONPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL
Cons: CONSIDERING THE RATE AND LOCATION I THINK THE HOTEL NEEDS TO BE REFURBISHED WITH A NICE SPA, BATHROOMS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS.
Location: BLUE MOSQUE, HAGIA SOPHIA, BARS AND RESTAURANTS.
THE HOTEL IS NOT VERY NICE, IT IS CLOSE TO ALL ATTRACTIONS IN SULTANMET AREA.

Pros: Location, Staff, Amenities
Excellent hotel in all respects. We stayed at the hotel for three nights recently and were extremely impressed. The hotel is located in the heart of the old city and both it and the rooms are well laid out. The staff were very professional and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay feel special. An excellent breakfast buffet and good Wi-Fi coverage made every minute enjoyable and productive.

A "boutique" hotel in the heart of the old town!Posted Oct 31, 2013
Pros: Excellent Customer service by all members of staff at the desk and the restaurant. Can't beat the location!
Cons: The rooms not quite sound proof. The shower head was a bit leaky and the connection of the card ( room key) in its holder was a bit temperamental.
Warm welcome by staff at the reception! Rather uniquely, the head waiter showed us the room and explained how everything works including the telly which is unheard of these days! Excellent customer service by friendly, helpful and genuinely caring (all members) staff. Delicious breakfast with lots of variety including Turkish sweetmeats. Particularly enjoyed the banana- in-crepe. Excellent room facilities including wifi and tea and coffee supply. Small but well equipped gym for a good workout and clean sauna and Turkish bath facilities inclusive in the (reasonable) price. Great location in the old town, a stone's throw away from all attractions and a plethora of eating places all vying for your custom.

Great hotel, great location.Posted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: The location, the staff and the lovely room.
Cons: Water machine in the sauna area.
After a nightmare journey from the airport we were greeted by friendly staff and a nice cold beer. We were escorted to our (upgraded) room and given a little tour. Good selection at breakfast, and you can ask for an omelette or fried eggs. The honeycombe was delicious! My boyfriend enjoyed using the (free) sauna, and the gym was more than adequate. All the reception staff were lovely and helpful, and they can organise trips if you need. We would definitely stay here again, if we went back to Istanbul.

Brilliant location on a lively street.Posted Sep 23, 2013
Great location on a great street with many restaurants and bars. Very close to many historical sights and a short stroll to the centre of Sultanahmet. Very nice boutique hotel and well worth a visit

Great!Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: The location, staff, and room.
Cons: Nothing, everything was great!
Location: Location - fantastic. Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Cisterns, Grand Bazaar, Topeki Palace, EVERTHING!
My daughter (15 yrs old) and I stayed at this hotel for 10 days at the beginning of August. I was a little concerned as the reviews were mixed. Well, glad I made the reservation. Couldn't have asked for a better location. The street is charming and everything is withing walking distance, we even made it to the Galata Tower by foot. Our room was clean and spacious and although it faced the street, we were never bothered by the noise. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they helped us organize the trip to Cappadocia with the travel agency, and made reservations to see the Dervish and belly dance shows. We loved Istanbul, but staying at this hotel made our entire experience even more fascinating as we always felt safe.

Well positioned in the heart of Sultanahmet area.Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Position, quality of service, facilities available
Cons: Only that information at the airport on arrival would have been nice with clear instructions as to teh transport choices available to the hotel
Location: Right in the heart of the Sultanahmet area with easy (walking) access to most major tourist attractions.
The facilities were very good and the staff friendly and courteous an anxious to provide good service. It provided an excellent and comfortable base for a short first time visit to Istanbul - an amzing city
