- 19.03.15 in diesem Hotel.

Friendly Hotel in Great LocationPosted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, comfort, secure, friendly
Location: 10minutes from main square - Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar etc.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room was small-ish but very comfortable. The bed was fantastic. The bathroom was well appointed and spotless. There was some noise from the street but nothing to worry about, there was no noise from other rooms. Breakfast was superb served in the rooftop restaurant there was a great variety and they served real coffee. We didnt eat any other meal at the hotel. The hotels central location meant we were able to walk everwhere.

Pros: Posizione perfetta, gestione quasi familiare.
Cons: La colazione...
Piccolo hotel con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. SPA piccola ma sempre vuota, sarete soli soletti. Camera spaziosa. Personale squisito. Colazione sufficiente.

Great stay in a great cityPosted Mar 27, 2015
Pros: The location is great, the staff are fabulous; friendly, generous and have a great sense of humour.
Cons: I honestly can not think of anything - great stay for us over all.
Location: 10 minutes from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Make sure you visit "Cheers: The Soul Kitchen" which is an excellent restaurant 2 minutes walk away.
We stayed in a group of 6: me and my partner, and two other couples. The hotel staff were always so friendly, welcoming and very generous - with free crisps, fruit platters and Lavazza coffee. The rooms are beautifully cleaned every morning, and the hotel staff are very quiet if you want a little lay in. They are well furnished. Our room had no maintenance issues, although I am aware that one other couple in our group had issues with their whirlpool bath not working properly. Each room has its own independent air conditioning - which for me is a big plus. The hotel is located about 10 minute walk from the blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. There are some excellent restaurants locally too with in 3 minutes walk. The spa area is clean, and was very relaxing after a hard days walking around the city. There is a lift in the hotel, which comes into its own after a couple of beers in the roof terrace bar.... those stairs coming down after a couple of beers could be a bit tricky for an overconfident tipsy chap... :)

Comfortable Hotel close to key sites in IstanbulPosted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: It is well situated, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very friendly
Cons: No specific suggestions
Location: The hotel is within a 10 minute walk of the Blue Mosque/Hagia Sofia and the Topkapi Palace. There are variety of restaurants nearby
We visited Istanbul in early March for 4 days and were pleased to find the hotel was within a 10 minute walk of the major mosques and tourist sites in Istanbul (ie the old part of Istanbul). The hotel is away from the main highways; accordingly it was reasonably quiet. The rooms are nicely furnished and they do a nice job keeping them clean. There is a breakfast buffet on the top floor each morning, which changes into a cafe/ restaurant in the afternoon/evening. On several afternoons we enjoyed a cup of tea/coffee after a day of sightseeing. The wi-fi signal worked very well in our room and the staff at both the front desk and in the breakfast/cafe were very helpful. We got some good dinner recommendations from the front desk. Overall we enjoyed are stay in Istanbul and at the Best Western and would recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Great Friendly Hotel in the CentrePosted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Friendly, helpful and warm staff. Cleanliness. Cosy. In the centre of the sightseeing district. Comfortable bed. Tastefully furnished.
Location: In the centre of the sightseeing district, close to Tram stops, the Palace, mosques, bazaar, shopping, restaurants, boat trips.
The moment we pulled up in the taxi, there was a friendly staff member to greet us. At reception, a lovely girl told us all we needed to know, (in fantastic English) answered our questions and we were taken to our room by another warm, friendly staff member. The room was cosy, incredibly clean and had all the facilities needed. We were invited to take tea in the dining room, which was just prefect after travelling. With much to choose from, we settled for the Turkish tea and were also presented with freshly baked cake. Staff were so friendly, chatty and seemed genuinely happy to help. The hotel is quite small ( I find it a positive), and some of the rooms do not have the best views, but this is not a problem as there is so much to see and explore outside. The hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing and really easy to navigate around and back to the hotel without getting lost. The Palace and Blue Mosque are barely 5 minutes away, the Bazaar 12 minutes approx and there are so many tram stops nearby you really are in the centre of everything. Breakfast was a good combination of fresh fruit, meats, cheese, yoghurts, eggs, some more traditional Turkish delights as well as all the drink options possible. We were converted to Turkish Tea but you could have toast and a Latte or cake and Cappuccino. At the time we stayed it was early March and considered low season. However, the hotel was still full and with a mix of nationalities. The staff are so warm, I can't fault the place.
