“Great value for the price”

Stayed there for 4 days. Extremely competitively priced compared to the others - very satisfied with both the room and the service. The free parking is great, since looking for a parking spot is a nightmare. Easy to get to via car - 2 mins away from a key expressway. The location is okay, about 20-30 mins walking distance from the majority of historical sites in the Golden Horn. Very limited eating options nearby the hotel - have to walk at least 20 mins to get to a decent restaurant. Definitely recommend it

“Best Western Senator is a dignified senator.”

This hotel offers old world charm from the moment one enters. The decor is subdued, but elegant. The staff is warm, and courteous. The bar is centrally situated on the first floor, and the bartenders really try to get to know the guests by name. The rooms are very clean, and while the room I stayed in was small it was not Spartan. It had the right amenities, including a mini-bar. The restaurant served me fresh pepper steak one night, and fresh local seafood the next night. The salads were crisp, and the bread was warm. The service staff never let my water glass below half full. This is a good value for the money. I recommend taking a taxi from the airport, or better yet, calling the hotel to dispatch a taxi to the airport for pickup. The staff will do this, and save you money in the process. I enjoyed my stay, and look forward to going back very soon with more family members.

“Very impressed”

We arrived around 10 a.m. had to wait until noon to check in due to room not ready. We had the balcony room our friend had the standard room. Both rooms same size no extra amenities with the balcony room. Very nice and very clean.

I was pleased with the location, cleanliness of the room, and the courtesy of the staff. However the Air Condition was not on during the entire stay. I had to open the unscreened window when it was warm.

The staff of the hotel are very helpful and polite. They have a nice breakfast buffet. In general you get a good value for the money. Very good location and walking distance to many touristic attractions.

“Big Room. Great Breakfast. Close to Tram.”

Great place to stay in Istanbul. About a 5 minute walk from the Tram line which will take you to all the important sights of the city. Bed was a bit too firm for my tastes, but the room was large, and the included breakfast buffet was expansive in it's offerings.

“Good hotel, decent service”

In general a very nice hotel and a wonderful stay. A couple of turn offs. I asked for a second room key the first night, the guy at the front desk told me the system doesn't allow it. I asked another attendent the second morning, and got it in 2 minutes. On the day of check out, I asked for a taxi at 6am, they didn't call a real taxi, but a hotel shuttle which is not that much cheaper than a taxi, but it waited over 20 minutes for other hotel guests.

“Non smoking doesn't mean Never been smoked in”

Not a bad part of town - close to many attractions, food good, breakfast nice, but don't ool yourself that a "non smoking" room has never been smoked in. That awful stale smell of ashtrays is pervasive and ubiquitous. CNN + BBC the only English channels on TV.

the male staff at the reception was very friendly the bell boy was very very nice but a female receptionist and those waiters at the breakfast room are not friendly location is good... but there is a cemetery behind the hotel

This was a very nice, modern hotel. The staff was very helpful. Not too good for food service.
