Can't recommend it here. Too many better choicesPosted Sep 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
I wanted to like this place, I really did. The 'hood is fun as it's near Taksim, the building is quirky (which I like) & the neighbors are all locals. But there were just too many new issues every day with the place. When I arrived, the toilet paper holder was in pieces in the cabinet so the roll is just on the counter. Fine, it's not that big a deal. But every day there seemed to be an additional hassle: the phones couldn't dial out, the safe acted up, the tv stopped working. Literally almost every day there was a new malfunction and for the not particularly cheap price (& 5th floor walk-up) I was paying, it just wasn't worth it. Dig a bit more and find a place that's intact. You'll be happier you did.

Comfortable hotel close to Taksim squarePosted Jul 8, 2013
The hotel is located on the other side of the street with many five-star hotels. It has a kitchen, which is very useful for travelers with young children. The room is spacious. The staff are very friendly and professionally. Will stay again.

The hotel description did not say no elevator, no accessibility does not mean elevators are not there. When we complained we were moved down to the first floor and our room upgraded which was nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The utensils in the kitchenette were minimal, cleaning staff not thorough and only changed the sheets once in the week we stayed even when we complained. The streets in the area were under construction , fortunatly it did not rain. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would use this hotel again.
