“A nice place for business travelers”

The hotel is modern and luxurious, but the location is not the best specially if you intend to visit the Golden Horn, the Bosphore, or Marmara sea. Some issues with the restroom and the bed linen. Breakfast was not included in package! The bar at the roof is nice and offers a nice panoramic view of Istanbul. Didn't visit the spa in the basement so I have no comments! Have a pleasant stay in Istanbul. Regards,

“Fine for business trip”

This hotel was fine for recent 2 day business trip, as close to meeting locations. I would not have classed it as 5 star - not particularly luxurious fixtures & fittings; the breakfast was good.

“Very good choice”

We felt really comfortable in the Dedeman. Brilliant service, comfy beds, yummy breakfast buffet as well as great sauna and pool. Fairly good located, near tube station and close to the young and more European quarters like Taksim and Beyoglu.

“Pleasing Dedeman”

The Hotel was clean and tidy, It hink it is mainly for Business Travellers but the staff was always smiling and pleasent to the children. We did have a problem one day with the condition of the bath water due to maintenace work but the reception tried to pass it off that the water in Istanbul sometimes gives them a problem. I wish they just told us the truth, people would be more understanding.

“Tiny Rooms with Big Heart Staff!”

My reservation was for an executive room; but when I arrived, I was given a tiny twin-bed regular room. When I told them that my reservation was for a king-size executive room with a chance of an upgrade - since I have an Elite Plus membership with Expedia through which I made my reservation - they moved me to another tiny king-size regular room. Finally, after going back and forth, they confirmed that my reservation was indeed for an executive room, they moved me to another tiny king size executive room with no bath (just a shower) and no upgrade! The room was very hot! They resolved this issue by bringing me a fan. So, I kept the AC off, the window open and fan on! What made my short stay "Pleasing" was the Hotel Staff! With all the confusion and the heat in my room, everyone was so pleasant.

It was a nice hotel with a helpful staff but too far away from downtown Istanbul.

1-The rooms were to small and no view so we paid $50 pear night to upgrade for another room. 2-We find difficult to commenced with reception

Most employees, while always professional and courteous, lacked the warmth and eagerness to please the guests. We were supposed to have a non-smoking room, but it reeked of smoke when we walked in. We kept the window open for the whole time we were there. Housekeeping, when informed of the problem, did nothing about the problem. However, the hotel was very clean.
