“location location location”

Right in the middle of main attractions - Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cysterns & The Topkapi Palace. THe hotel small,traditional and just a delight Maevelous view from the roof terrace. Best support from staff we have ever had, booking restaurants and arranging taxis etc. Would definately reccomend to anyone

“Excellent hotel”

We stayed here for 4 nights. Many of the major attractions were within walking distance and to the tram was a short walk from the hotel. The staff at the hotel could not have been more pleasant or more helpful and the room was comfortable. We could not recommend this hotel more highly.

“Charming would definitely stay there again.”

The hotel is lovely. We knew it was small with just 17 rooms, which was perfect. Quiet, wonderful ambience, fabulous staff, delicsious breakfast with a lovely rooftop view of the city. Very "Turkish" in the decor which pleased us. First time to Turkey and the welcome was gracious. Outstanding recommendations on what to do, arrangements were made for us with no hesitation. The hotel is well situated, we walked from there to most everywhere! My wife and I highly recommend the Dersaadet

The Dersaadet Hotel is a lovely Ottoman style building with interior decor to suit, i upgraded to a corner suite and, was really impressed with it the staff were helpful and polite and the location was excellent.

“A quiet oasis in a very busy city!”

This small boutique hotel is perfectly suituated within easy walk of all the main sights. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.The main advantage above other hotels is the small but pleasant roof top area which is used for breakfast and has a bar so is the perfect place to chill out after a hard days sightseeing. The view over the sea is stunning and the breakfast delicious!

“Nice little hotel”

We followed the advice of some other reviews and booked ourselves a corner suite and it was lovely. The location is great, service was friendly and helpful and the roof terrace, with its views across to the Asian shore, is a little gem. Our only slight complaint was a hairdryer in the bathroom that kept overheating and cutting out, otherwise a lovely few days.

“Nice Hotel”

Nice, small hotel. Very well located, close to the Blue Mosque. Friendly, helpful staff. The roof deck has a wonderful view of the ocean and the Blue Mosque. We loved coming up for breakfast and for a drink in the evening. The free computer in the lobby is also a nice touch. Our only complaint was that the sheets were rather small so your partner might pull them off you in the night. My wife is a light sleeper and the small mosque nearby did not bother her with its call to prayer in the morning, but you can hear it if your room is on that side of the hotel, but that is true over much of the city. Overall it was fine and we would stay there again.

“Great Expectations”

My overall experience in this hotel was great. The staff were very helpful and cordial. Having a computer available for the guests was quite helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, it is quite close to the Blue Mosque and the view from the resturant on the roof was great.

Like most all travelers, I always wonder about the accuracy of statements made by and of hotels. I am happy to share my feelings about the Dersaadet Hotel in Istanbul to be of help to others. It REALLY is located within a five minute walk to the Blue Mosque (in fact, one can see it in the hotel's breakfast room) and so many of the other main tourist sites. But most importantly, the staff of the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly and I need not tell the experienced traveler how invaluable that is!! I recommend the Dersaadet Hotel with no hesitations. Absolutely!!!
