Room to small carpet, bathroom not clean sheet and towels very old. Buffet very limited not like the picture advertised. Very noisy area next to night club that plays music past 3 am in the morning. Also unsafe area as we had our wallet stolen near by area.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Super clean. Great breakfast. Excellent location, only a stone’s throw from the local amenities in Taksim. All in all amazing 14 days as a family at this nice little hotel..

This is a horrible place to stay in it’s not even a motel ! Rooms smells like urine, outdated rooms, bathtub full of mold,be aware of the location too very unsafe! I had to move to a different hotel even when I couldn’t get my money back simply because I wasn’t able to stay there due to the condition of this place. The pictures on the website has nothing to do with how it really looks I felt scammed and this is a false advertisement!

Great receptionist
Nice and cheap. Close to everything in Taksim area. The receptionist was superb. He called me by my name during my whole stay. Nice that he remembers names of guests at least during their stay.

It is very very bad hotel, the smell, it is not clean, the room window opens on a small whole, no clear air and no sun rays to inter the room. The pictures on the Expedia was not real. During the night also you can hair notices which led to a very bad sleep. The breakfast was really really bad. So to sum up; the hotel do not go to it even you had to swell on the street.

Good for sleeping not for leisure
Reception desk speaks good English, check in process was relatively quick. Staff are friendly and helpful. The regular room size is small, but clean, it's designed for sleeping and taking a shower, not really prepared for spending time or even working in it. Hotel location is amazing, few steps away from Taksim Square, where you can be in reach to all transportation means. If you have a car, the hotel will not provide free parking, however there is valet parking available on spot (surcharge), alas there is only one person in charge of the valet and will only work during day hours. Breakfast is provided by the chief during Covid-19, no open buffet options available. The plate provided by the chief is relatively small and not suitable for vegetarians. In a nutshell, the hotel is good if you are planning only to sleep in it, otherwise the hotel is not designed for leisure.

Very well situated area, really professional and friendly staff . Rooms were clean and good amenities. Good breakfast ( fair choices ) and clean small place for breakfast .... we got a free upgreat for 3 person room witch was super nice of the stall !!! over all very good I would definitely go back there !

We enjoyed ourselves and went back again
The hotel is very clean and well maintained! The rooms are beautiful and modern, the bathroom is amazing! Comfortable beds, there is a kettle and a tea / coffee corner. Excellent service! Great location!

Rooms are clean but too small. Bathroom window was on the street. Breakfast with no good variety. A quiet property fits for a short stay. It is far from istiklal street.

A good hotel in Istanbul. Nothing awful but nothing outstanding either. Generally clean although some of the fixtures were looking a bit worn. Breakfast was fine, and I liked the plain omelettes they had. I did have problems with one of the neighbours playing music loudly and smoking late at night, and perhaps the hotel management could be a little more vigilant of such behaviour, or ensure guests are aware of house rules.

Clean, comfortable, quiet at night and the staff are friendly and of great assistance. The price is excellent for what you get and the breakfast choice is vast and delicious. The location is perfect. The staff were lovely and gave us loads of great advice about places to visit and tips on travelling on the metro and trams. The hotel is just off the main road so it is quiet compared to the ones on the main drag but you literaly just moments away from all the Taksim Square has to offer and the public transport Metro is on the doorstep so you can get anywhere you want so easily. This was our first visit to Istanbul and staying in the Emerald Hotel helped make it such an enjoyable visit. The photos I've attached are all taken either in the Emerald Hotel, or just outside in the immediate area :) I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The hotel isn't a big hotel - it is small and friendly and clean - but on a scruffy street - but don't let looks put you off - it is lovely. We loved staying there :)

We stayed here after a long week of traveling. It was right in the heart of Taksim. It was a little hard for cab drivers to find but it was a wonderful place to stay. I would recommend.

Good location near Taksim square
Beautiful room, everything one would expect, and very helpful staff. Don't however expect a non-smoking room - they may say that but there was no escaping the smell. Also quite a bit of noise came through the walls, the plumbing, the hallway. Also I'd avoid rooms on the lobby floor - very close to the front desk again with the associated noise.
