“Great little hotel in Sultanahmet”
I stayed at the Emine Sultan for 3 nights in July 2011. The hotel is in a good location a few minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque in the Sultanahmet, though it is a little difficult to find (most taxis will not know the street). The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and my room (though small) was comfortable, especially the bed. I appreciated the powerful air conditioning, as the weather was very hot! The rooftop patio and the views from the breakfast room were highlights as well. The breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful, though it would have benefited from some hot food options; also, I was not offered Turkish coffee on the first morning so I didn't know it was available until the last day.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. The price is right, too, if you book on Expedia; the prices listed on the hotel's website are much higher.
