Great place for relaxationPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, relaxing lobby bar/restaurant, pool, fitness area.
Location: Location is close to the beach (3 minute walk) and among lots of little restaurants and small stores. Not much to do nearby other than eat or sit.
We stayed 4 nights with our 3 year old son and infant daughter. The room (labeled 'family room' on expedia) was a decent size and had a chair that pulled out into a single bed which our son couldn't fall out of. Breakfast was included in the price and it was incredible. I wouldn't say that this hotel is as family-friendly as many in the Antalya area, but the staff were all friendly and tolerant of our son's rather rowdy personality. You have to walk quietly through the spa to get to the fitness area/swimming pool, AND wear sterile coverings over your shoes. In the pool you MUST have a swimming cap. But our son didn't mind and other kids seemed ok with it too. If you have a baby, they MUST have a swimming diaper/nappy - they checked this a number of times with us; thankfully I had brought them. But overall, we appreciated the cleanliness of the whole place. The thing we liked least was how far this was from the airport, costing us 100 Turkish Lira in rush hour, and 50 Turkish Lira on a Sunday morning for the return airport trip. But once we got there, it was a wonderful place to stay and relax. Lots of little food stores nearby and a bigger grocery store in the basement of a nearby mall. The beach is nearby but not the cleanest (packed on the weekends). There is a children's park down the street (near the beach, across the street from Kiper Restaurant). The mall has a small Playplace on the top floor that you can pay for the kids to go on rides or play in an indoor park.

Very goodPosted Jul 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The only down side was the cab fare to the centre. It is far away from the historical locations and the cab fares are very high in turkey. Hotel itself i was happy considering the price i paid.

Close to the beach, but far from the city center.Posted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: Quietness and not busy.
Cons: Housekeeping and the interknit speed. More English speaking hospital workers,
Location: Close to the beach and the aquamarine.
It takes more than one hour taxi drive to reach the city center. it is really tiring and costly. Hard to find somebody speaks English at the reception.

Great hotel, very comfortablePosted Jun 11, 2013
Pros: very clean
Location: by the sea side, 45 minutes away from city center
it was our first trip to Istanbul, and we choose Eser Hotel. the hotel is very clean and the staff are amazing, very welcoming. Breakfast was just amazing a wide variety of food to choose from. Bathroom was very clean. Just to say the hotel was a bit far from Sultanahmet , around 45 minutes but area of hotel location is next to the sea so their are many restaurants and shops. i would stay there again if i visit Istanbul.

ComplainingPosted Jul 14, 2012
Pros: The rooms are suitable for families and the lay out and look are good.
Location: Not good
The location of the hotel is too far from airport and from city centre as well and the taxis is too expensive to reach the attractions of the city. In addition, the staff at the reception were not helpful for their customers. The cleaners didn't do their jobs properly. These complaining should not be permitted in 5star hotel. However, we stayed at this hotel because the booking was non refundable.

In the middle of nowherePosted Jul 4, 2012
Cons: location, customer service
Location: really far from all the main attractions, very hard to find (even for the taxi drivers)
Really hard to find, very far from attractions in Istanbul and takes about 1.45-2hrs from Blue mosque etc to drive to as whatever time of day we were travelling to and fro, the traffic on the roads was very heavy. There is absolutely nothing to do in the hotel vicinity and the spa was not great, in-fact it was over priced and delivered little. The hotel was immaculately clean though and breakfast was lovely. The staff speak little English and have little in the way of customer service skills, in fact that did let the hotel down considerably. I would not chose this hotel again, I would stay much closer to the attractions as the location is very remote and the rooms, although nicely decorated, are small and congested.
