Pros: Location, front end staff and their Nescafe coffee.
Cons: A/C, phones
The front office staff was excellent, but upstairs the staff at breakfast place was not that friendly unless you give them tip everyday. Their coffee in the front office was excellent and a great idea better than breakfast kitchen. Hotel very close to all tourist attractions. The only problem was individual rooms did not have A/C control so we had to constantly contact front staff to adjust the room temperature and most of the times the phone in the room was not working.

Pros: Rooms were large, clean and comfortable Helpful staff Good views over bosphurus one side and blue mosque the other
Cons: A little noisy but bearable. But to be expected in that area.
Location: Perfect location, close to all main sites
staff were helpful and chatty. rooms were clean and large and very comfortable. great location and not far from attractions, however a little bit noisy and wi-fi signal not always the strongest. Nice views from terrace. Would stay again

Good location, shame about room location

Posted May 5, 2015
Very central, walking distance to everywhere. Good decor, great roof terrace with unadulterated view of the blue mosque. For me being allocated the room next to the reception was awful, could hear everything at all times of the day. I wouldn't risk it, and won't be returning because of it.

I loved it!

This is my first time to Istanbul and a colleague recommended The Ferman Hotel - it was excellent! The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always with a smile. The room was very nice. The location is exceptional - walking distance from The Blue Mosque, The Grand Bazaar and The Spice Market. The view from the rooftop breakfast room is breathtaking - I would definitely go back!

Nice hotel

Actually it is a nice hotel and the service is good. But some rooms are in the same floor with the reception, so it is noisy at night. However, after room change, the rest of the nights go well.

Sultanahmet, Istanbul Stay Mar 2015

Posted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
Wonderful staff, with Maya and Veysel making sure everyone was taken care of. The location was perfect for visiting the Mosques and using the Metro/Tram to get around. Outstanding Sultanahmet tour (in English) provided by Hulya, a tour guide coordinated through the hotel. Views of the Blue Mosque from the breakfast eating area were outstanding. Breakfast was consistently outstanding. Highly recommend.
