Fabulous HotelPosted Nov 26, 2013
Pros: location location and attention to detail
This was our first trip to Istanbul and we wanted to stay close t the sites. We also wanted to have a haven at the end of the day. This hotel fulfilled our wish.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed inPosted Nov 25, 2013
Location: hotel is near all of the major sights. We particularly recommend the Hagia Sofia, the Topkapi Palace, the Bazar and the Blue Mosque.
This is an incredible hotel. The location, décor, staff, food, setting, comfort, etc. are all excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Pros: Location, facilities, service all excellent.
Cons: Not that I'm aware of.
Location: In the middle of the main tourist area "Sultanahmet", so too many attractions to list.

Great hotel, super friendly staff!Posted Nov 15, 2013
Pros: That it has history... it used to be a jail mainly used for political prisoners. So awesome.
Cons: The breakfast option is expensive at $40 a pop! Though out and about the hotel are more local and interesting, much cheaper options.
Location: Best location in Istanbul. Walking distance to all of Sultanahmet's landmarks: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, etc!
Great hotel... the staff are amazingly happy to meet your needs and go above and beyond the call of service. The rooms are amazing, the location is a no-brainer, and the amenities are great. There's a decent gym (free) and wifi. For the wifi, there's a free option and a paid option ($20/day). I never found the need for the paid option, and I did use the free option to watch HD movies from iTunes, surf, stream music, etc. They said the paid option is for heavy users that download videos, do video calls, etc, but I don't think it's needed - Viber worked quite well on the free option. Oh, and it's blazingly fast as well, like a couple of minutes to download 1Gb.

Best location in city - humanscale hotelPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: Location means the hotel cannot be large, but all services available, well managed with almost too much service being provided to guests.
Cons: Slightly better control of the room temperature.
Location: Less than five minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome and Topkapi. Ten minutes to the Grand Bazaar. Very difficult to improve.
In the heart of the old city, interesting history to the building, and just the right size. Well trained staff, comfortable rooms - could not really ask for more.

The best !Posted Jul 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place was a wonderful oasis in the old part of the city.a few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia.... Also around the corner from a Turkish bath, the Ayasofya. ( a must ) My room was wonderfully quiet. I could hear the call to prayer but it didn't wake me. The staff was friendly and the roof top bar had great views.

Perfect location for key attractionsPosted Apr 2, 2013
Pros: 5 star but small and friendly
Location: Perfect for key attractions
A superb 5 star hotel right in the heart of the touring action. You might be tempted to try the four seasons on the Bosphorous or even the Kempinski both of which look amazing but are miles away from the key tourist attractions. If you want that standard but within easy walking distance of all the main attractions then you won't do better than this hotel. Not overly large but lovely grounds and very helpful service.

Next door to old town sightsPosted Mar 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Four Season Sultanahment was a great base for seeing the sights of the old city. Hotel was small but up to the Four Season's high standards. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was well sized and had all the usual amenities. I'd recommend the hotel for anyone looking to tour the sights and wanting a relaxing and elegant accommodation.
