Perfect.

Sometimes Four Seasons can feel stuffy but this one was perfect. The location and the historic atmosphere make this the place to stay in Istanbul.

Excellent experience

Highly recommended. One of the best four seasons hotel that I've been to. Don't miss having a cocktail at the terrace, the view is amazing. Serving was very polished and attentive.

Perfect Oasis in old Istanbul

Posted Apr 20, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is an experience in Turkish history and hospitality. I booked the least expensive room and expected to receive a small room, but I was upgraded to exactly the bed type and room size I would have wanted. Bathroom amenities are great. Concierge was very helpful in finding us restaurants just to suit my needs. The hotel building is an old prison, the courtyard now is a lovely garden and restaurant and starting the day with breakfast in the garden was a treat. Breakfast is a huge buffet, sets you up for the whole day. The rooftop lounge is the place to end the day, watching the sunset with a drink or tea was the perfect relaxation. The most important historical sites are all in walking distance. Thank you Hotels.com. I hesitated to use the service for a five star, but will not hesitate again. The reservation worked perfectly

Perfect hotel for a superb Istanbul vacation

Posted Apr 9, 2015 on Hotels
We had an exceptional experience during our 7 night stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet. The location is fantastic, in the middle of historical Istanbul. The hotel has great personality (in an old Ottoman prison), is very clean and beautifully decorated. Even compared with the high standard of other 5 star hotels, the staff responsiveness to our needs, the attention to detail and the overall comfort of our room were unparalleled. The hotel’s common areas and the dining options were wonderful also. This was an absolutely perfect experience.

Very well designed hotel extremely close to all of the major old city landmarks and sites. You'll be amazed to walk out the front door and see the Hagia Sofia every morning.

Sehr zentrale Lage, ein abgeschottetes Kleinod!

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: Lage, Architektur, Service, Qualität der Küche.
Cons: Nein
Location: s.o.
