Since I visit Istanbul twice a year, I have experienced many 4 or 5 star hotels in this city. Believe it or not, you will find many hotels with a 5-star rating on travel websites, but these hotels are actually rated 3 stars. So do not pay attention to those stars. The most important thing is cleanliness, maintenance and hospitality, which I think you will find at Gallery Residence & Hotel. Nişantaşı is a residential quarter in the Şişli district on the European side of Istanbul and is known for its unique shopping selection. It is easy to feel a luxurious atmosphere in the streets. For both locals and tourists, Nişantaşı is the place where fashion lives and grows. The hotel is located in a quiet street, 5 minutes walk from Abdi İpekçi. Nearby is a new shopping center (Lotus), from which you can easily reach Osmanbay Street and the metro station. If you are interested in visiting beautiful old French designed buildings and warm atmosphere, you can walk 20 minutes to Istiklal Street. There is a pub (Meyhane) and a good grocery store in front of the hotel, but the area was very quiet at night. During the day, this street is very lively and busy because of the many tailor and barber stores. As for the decoration of the hotel, you feel like you are in an art gallery, so the name is so perfect for this place. Your eyes will be fed by the many posters and paintings and the rooms inscribed with famous painters. I was in the Lautrec (the French painter) room. Would fully recommend.

Highly recommended! Great hotel and friendly staff
The staff at this hotel went above and beyond. I landed very early and they allowed me a very early check in and even upgraded me to a beautiful suite. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautiful and the breakfasts were great. Location is central to tons of shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay here while in Istanbul!

I stayed in many similar hotels around Nisantasi, this one is one if the best. The owner cares about the guests and their comfort. The shower head got broken and they fixed it immediately. The rooms are comfortable for a family. Plenty of drawers. The location is good, near the metro station.

this hotel is listed as 4 stars. but I wouldn't give more than 2. our room was on the 7th floor and the elevator only goes up to the 6th floor. and we, with 3 suitcases, climbed the spiral staircase on foot. besides that, the rooms are awfully small. and horribly ugly design. The water in the shower was did not getting stuck all the time. look at the photo. it's near to my bed - how can this hotel have 4 stars? The only good thing is the location of the hotel. Expedia indicated the kitchen in the room. but there was no kitchen at all, only a kettle. I chose this hotel because there was no room in the hotel where I always stay. I will never stay again and do not recommend to anyone. I have been in Istanbul very often over the past 10 years and have stayed in many hotels for 10 years, but I have never seen such a terrible hotel at such a not cheap price.

Dear guest, First of all I would like to ask you , if we are claiming the lift goes up to the 7th floor. I wish you read well, while you were booking. Besides this my colleagues always help our guests with their luggages, unless you reject their help. We hear this "horribly ugly" comment on the design of the room for the first time. Unfortunately we are a property without stars; but it does not exist in the classification of Expedia. Since we are somewhere between 3 and 4 stars , we preferred to choose 4 and we did not receive such a complaint so far. A kitchen was too much for this room and we removed the kitchen to offer more space. Unfortunately we failed to renew the photos which is our fault. We have been hosting our guests including employees of consulates, big international companies etc since our opening in 2005. You are probably the first one who used such a "terrible" wording and I recommend you to use a polite and smart wording at least no to harm the efforts and goodwill of the staff. Our past and past reviews are the proof of we are not deserving such a cruel review. But we will try to get a lesson even out of this one. Regards..

Not only the belonging, also the health and life of our guests are under our custody after they check in. As a registered hotel we have responsibilities towards laws and our guests. These guests fighted with each other several times so that other guests were disturbed and irritated by them. We were also afraid of the lady in the room being harmed. In spite of our warnings they left us only one chance and we invited them to leave the hotel. So the review does not have anything to do with realities. We also recommend Expedia to take these guests to black list.

I like the way the flat is diveded and furnished.It is very practical for me. I like also the neighborhood,close to a nice park and to one of the best arias in the town,Nisantasi.It is close by underground to Cevahir shopping and Ak Merkez. Two of the best concert halls in Istanbul,Cemal Resit Rey and Lutfi Kirdar,are just a few steps away and Is Sanat concert hall is easily accesible by underground.

The hotel was very clean ans the rooms were perfect. The location is ideal for shopping banks etc

nice location , friendly and helpful stuff,
i stayed 6 amazing nights, 5 mints walk to osmanbye station and 2 mints walk to nisantasi shopping area, 25 mints walk to taksim sequer, perfect location

Basic in a good location
Location was very good. Breakfast was good but hotel service was basic. There was an issue with the toilet seat that didn't get fixed.
