Very clean! Continental breakfast and Ness cafe. Close to Metro busses that can take you to the center. In walking distance there is park with beach. There are shopping malls one just 1 stop away and few others further. Metro busses are in almost every 2 min. Just charge your Metro card by cash. I was happy driving with my car in Turkey. Although there is busy traffic, Turkish drivers are very tolerant and polite. Behind the hotel there are lots of supermarkets and fresh veggies, fruits. Great location, accessibility, air conditioning in the rooms and cleaning. The only bad was that there wasn't wi-fi in the rooms, but for such price and everything above, it was ok for us, just using internet in the lobby if it is necessary.

Only here for 1 night due to champions league. Location not great to centre but about 20 quid to centre. Hotel absolutely beautiful, staff good, breakfast good, room rate good Arrived for the sake of 15 minutes to get changed to head for centre. In that time staff brought us 3 plates of complimentary fruit, not needed but appreciated all the same. If I ever go to that area again would definitely stay here Sorry we wasn’t there longer as it was so good

not clean and not 3 star hotel. the management is not not friendly, upset with customers. the rooms are small and beds not comfortable. the pics online are differnt than real one.

Don’t go for the “Upgraded room”
Lovely hotel right in the heart of Sultanahmet. Our arrive/check in was a little strange. I had booked a deluxe room in the hotel. So when it came to check in time we were whisked up the road to another hotel? Oh this was sold to us by an “Upgraded room”. What a load of rubbish!! I got in the “Upgraded” room and it was nothing like I had booked. I showed the receptionist a picture of my booked room but she insisted this was bigger and an upgrade. I refused the room and said I wanted the room I’d booked in the hotel I’d booked. When I was eventually shown my booked room in my booked hotel it was perfect. The action of the receptionist was I believe, to give up an upgraded down grade and sell my deluxe room to a guy who had just walked in off the street for more money, win win for the hotel. When you book a room always check it out first and don’t get fobbec off!!! Great hotel,great breakfast & brilliant location.

3 nights in Istanbul
I say I would recommend,but with caveats. This hotel looks like it had been recently renovated. It is clean and in good condition. The rooms are well equipped,clean and comfortable. The food is a little basic, but you won't starve. This hotel is dry; No alcohol. The staff are lovely and very obliging. The only down-side is the location. It's not too far from the airport (Ataturk) but is quite a way from the old part of Istanbul. The hotel is on the edge of a busy highway. There is precious little in the area except small businesses.

Nice hotel.
Spent three days and two nights, the bed linens were never changed. My room looked like it was cleaned. However, the red stains from eating strawberries were on the sheets and were never changed. There were no wash cloths only large towels.

A very good option for a stopover in Istanbul. Close to the Ataturk Airport (15 mins/10-15 euro by taxi). Very clean. Nice staff and breakfast. Facing a super busy street but the upper floors are quiet.

good place for one night stay nearby tge airport
It was rather hard to find cause the nearest bus station is being repaired,but location is quiet near to the aiport. Good breakfast, but no cafe nearby,room is clean well equipped,perfect for one night stay. Good service also.

We booked this hotel as it said it is near to the airport (Ataturk) and we were flying onward the following day. Out of rush hour you can get here by taxi in about 15/20 mins. In rush hour times it will take about an hour. Check taxi rates before you get in. We booked a triple room in April to be sure we could get the room type and although other hotels were available, few had a triple rooms. On arrival there was no triple room and they were not willing to help. One member of staff commented on another room that may be available and sorted out beds by moving them himself. He was very helpful and served us at dinner and at breakfast time. The staff were very friendly and helpful in the end, but after a long day travelling it wasn't quite the start we would have liked. Food at night is very basic, but freshly made for you. Breakfast is buffet and had something to suit everyone.

Well price - clean airport hotel
I had an early flight so I stayed here one night because it was close to the airport. The hotel reminded me of any north American business airport hotels. Very clean, comfortable beds, television with English channels. My flight was too early to try the breakfast. The rate was really reasonable given the quality of the room.

Cheap and close hotel to the airport
It is a regular hotel closely located to the airport, which is 15 minute drive by taxi. The price is reasonable, but very noisy rooms, since the hotel is placed next to the highway.

Great Hotel for Attaturk Airport Stay
We booked this hotel just for one night stay before leaving Turkey Great rate.. Arrived later in the evening -and were greeted warmly and even given tea:) Wonderful room for our family of 4 - clean, new and comfortable. Great breakfast in morning before leaving for airport.

Grand Hotel Avcilar Has It All!
Being our first visit to the spectacular city of Istanbul, we wanted to be somewhat near the airport, but in a different part of the city than the historic district of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofya and Topkapi Palace. We chose the Grand Hotel Avcilar because it was reasonably price and in the opposite direction from the airport than the historic district thinking traffic two and from the airport would be less . . . Wrong. Istanbul is a busy, busy, crowded place, but what made it all worthwhile was the hotel's eagerness to please and serve, an outstanding breakfast and clean, comfortable rooms and common areas. Oh and very good air conditioning! One suggestion: Take a cruise for 15 Euros on the Bosporus and Golden Horn to see and appreciate all of Istanbul. Best thing we did in Istanbul, next to the Grand Bazaar and Mosques!

Great place for an overnight layover from IST
Nice hotel, great staff, good value for what I paid. Located nowhere near the old town, though, and a half hour by public transit from Ataturk Airport (IST). If you stay here on a layover from IST, though, be prepared to pay for a cab ride or else take the metro to the bus and head north. I recommend the latter. Simply call the hotel to find out which stop. These folks are very helpful.

Close to the Airport
We stayed at this hotel because of its close location to the airport as we were arriving staying one night and flying out the next day. So this airport was terrific it a 10minute drive to Attaturk. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the room was a little dingy but served our purpose.

Only 15 minutes from Airport this was a surprising find .. not exactly in a stand out location but the hotel was so much more on the inside. The hotel staff were very helpful to us as very tired travellers. The room was sensational, clean, really comfortable bed and a large room. The bathroom was modern and clean.
