Great valuePosted Mar 9, 2015 on Hotels
Great room with high standard of furnishings etc... only downside is that its location is off the beaten track and arriving there at night was a little daunting. Also the noise of the morning dock & seaguls were quite awakening, but it didn't bother us, equally the buzzing restaurant below, where people drink to the early hours, might offend some, but again this wasn't a problem for us and we actually quite liked hearing the buzz from below. For the price it's a great little find and really close to the tram, the bridge across to the old city and the taxi rank, plus not too far from the galata tower and main shops, so a good spot to access everything. It was a little scary to walk to as a girl if you were on your own at night. Otherwise thumbs up.

Une équipe sympathique et efficace. Bon accueil.

Convenient location if you can find it!Posted Nov 18, 2014 on Hotels
We booked this hotel for a quick stay in Istanbul. The main issue we had with this hotel was that our taxi driver had a very hard time to locate it. We arrived at night (past dark) and when we finally found the building, we considered driving to another hotel. After checking out the room though, we found it to be very clean and quite comfortable for a short stay. The location was actually very convenient and close to many restaurants (the building itself is in a small alley that is not very attractive though). The hotel also set up a crib for our 8 month old son - much appreciated. Would recommend overall - just make sure that you have the phone number of the hotel on hand in case your cab driver has to call them.

We were in Istanbul 2 days before joining a tour and this was a great jumping off place. The staff was extremely helpful and the room very clean. The location near the Galata Bridge and funicular was great. It is located right above the fish market, but there wasn't a smell. It's also in a hardware section of town. The front door was a bit tricky.

Apartment OK, but the area is bad!Posted Oct 11, 2014 on Hotels
The apartments are centrally located next to the Galata bridge, so it is near most transportation. However the area of the hotel is shabby and dirty, the apartments are located above a fish restaurant, fish smell, smell of humidity/mould. In front of the apartments passenger boats depart and arrive and in the evenings, at least when we were there during Bayram, there was heavy noise from several restaurants playing loud music until 3am in the morning. We had to use ear plugs and could still hear the noise. The hotel receptionist was most helpful and accommodating and the room itself was tidy and pleasant, in line with the way it is presented. We would however definitely not go back due to the bad /filthy neighbourhood and noise at night.

Good location.Posted Oct 5, 2014 on Hotels
The location was good. (Galata Bridge) It is a noisy place because there is a ferry stop, which starts at 7 am and ends late. Also you can hear music from the surrounding bars till 3 am. But the room was very nice and comfortable. People in charge were very friendly and helpful.(it is hard to find the front door, and they were very nice when we needed a taxi helping the driver to find the hotel)

Clean, comfortable, relaxingPosted Oct 3, 2014 on Hotels
The location is very convenience. It is a little difficult to find at the beginning as there is no indication outside. However, it is very close to Tram station and easy access to tourist points.
