Convenient location, old hotel, small room
Location is the best thing to appraise. The owner is a nice gentleman. While I understand this is an older hotel, cleanliness still needs to be improved. I found a jacket in the closet which I believe was left by the last guest. Stains were found in the sheets. Moreover, I got a neighbor who watch tik-tok and speak loudly after mid-night, looks like the walls are not so sound-proof. Room is small, just enough to put a double bed.

Fatal at front desk was able to help me we a questions I had. Enes worked breakfast buffet and night time and was fast to replenish buffet or serve a chai in the evening

Experience in Akcinar
It was our holiday trip and the place was really good in-term of location and friendliness of the staff. The only minor set-back is the heater was not functioning on the first day. Other than that it was very good.

thank you for your nice comments.. the air condition generally used in the summer so that it can heat slow in winter but no problem it is heating.. also there is general heating is working.. we hope to see you again in our hotel.. kind regards..

It was fine, could be better
Firstly the positive: the location of the hotel is excellent, between two tram stops in the old city, 20 mins walking to Grand Bazaar and 10 mins walking to Hagia Sophia et al. Also the air-con is good, although doesn't stay on once you take out the key card. On the negative side: the hotel is tired looking and the rooms need updating. The photos on the website show what is apparently the best of the rooms as I did not have anything this nice. There is no duvet provided just a sheet and blanket, and housekeeping only came on my third day. There is no minibar, just an empty fridge and two glasses provided and there was no safe in the room. Internet access is Wi-Fi per floor and can be hard to get a good signal and while there are a lot of TV channels they are all local (only BBC World news in English). Breakfast was a buffet, but they could have provided a better choice. Overall wasn't terrible but wouldn't stay there again.

Size of the was smaller than we expected. There was no ventilation as the window was not towards open/fresh air side. However, at check-in we were offered three rooms to select from. Room cleanliness and house keeping was good. Very cooperative and understanding staff at reception. The lady handling provisioning of breakfast in restaurant was very rude and didn't like when asked to make scrambled eggs. Overall the breakfast was good. Tea and coffee was available easily on request. Fantastic location of the hotel makes it a good choice to stay again. Numerous eating places and tram station in close vicinity of hotel was a big plus point.

Nice hotel close to the center
We wanted to stay some more nights than we had booked. The price was the same and they even had offered us room with the sea. They have very nice roof terrace where you can drink tea and coffe made in the hotel for free.

Room is tiny, Service is normal, location is great
Hotels stuff are very nice and very helpful people.. However, rooms are not comfortable, very small, tiny, and are missing the basic stuff such as iron, cattle, ... I took a sea view room, but don't recommend it at all as it doesn't worth the amount paid on it.. The windows are very small and the it is partial sea view. The terrace upstairs are good, and you can spend some good time over there. Breakfast and OK, but also below expectation. The ONLY excellent point with this hotel is the location. It has an excellent location, near to the tram station, Marmaray Metro Station, also near to the Sultanahmet area which is over 10 minutes walking... Excellent locaiton

Stay at Hotel - Watch out
Never ever to stay again at this hotel and not recommend to. Watch out if you decide to stay; if you agree with the staff on a price in $, make sure to have it in writing, otherwise, they will charge you in euro. I booked thru Hotels website, then while there, decided to extend for additional few nights and we agreed on price in US$. When checking out, they claimed that this has to be paid in euro and forced me to do so.

Cheap, good, central accommodation
Very central, but quiet positioned hotel, off main street. Tram station is a few dozen steps. Rooms are quite small, but very clean and well maintained. Bathroom was very clean and had a good strong and warm shower. Lifts are at the half level between floors, which might be a problem to some. The room safe did not work, but there are individual lock boxes at reception. I would use it again, without any doubt.

Great staff and location but needs some repairs
The hotel visit started badly when I left a bag in our taxi. The staff were so helpful, at 4am i might add, and the contacted the firm to reclaim my bag. The hotel is brilliantly located and the area is pleasant. The only downside is the condition of the hotel. Its clean and comfortable but it needs work, for example our shower bracket was broken and on my last night the air conditioning stopped working. In sum an excellent hotel for those who will spend most of their time exploring Istanbul but not a choice for a luxury chillout. In sum, top class service and with a little renovation work, a great little hotel in a wonderful city.

not as expected
Desk staff unfriendly and unhelpful, nor multi-lingual as had been led to believe; couldn't purchase tickets for museums and other local attractions as had been described or book organised tours; i asked how to purchase tokens for public transport, was told to go to a shop across the street and ask and asking for directions to places met with shrugs; hotel very clean, room very clean and well equipped (but extra bedding lacking, it became quite cold while i was there), except for its window opening onto a ventilation shaft, the outer windows of which are painted black - ergo no natural daylight, very unpleasant to spend any time in the room. Some sort of machinery starts at 1am every night, very loud, impossible to sleep through. It's location is excellent, but plenty of other hotels nearby. The best part was walking out the door for the last time.

Very conveniet and inexpensive
Though I was disappointed that the room had 2 single beds instead of a double the hotel was nice and clean and the staff very friendly and cooperative. It was also located in a very nice area with a lot of restaurants and easy access the the tram and also easy walking distance to several of the major tourist attractions. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a inexpensive hotel close to major tourist attractions.

The size of the room was way smaller than what it is looked on pictures, I was not even possible to fully open a checked luggage to look for my stuffs. They don't let you get any type of visits on your room and they don´t specify that at the beggining or have that rule written anywhere, which was extremely inconvenient to me.

最高のロケーション
朝ごはんもついていて、ホテルの方は親切でとても過ごしやすかったです。壁とかちょっと剥がれてましたがお湯も何時でも普通に出て、WIFIもスムーズでした。トプカプ宮殿やアヤソフィアまで10分程度、ガラタ橋から10分程度と観光には最高でした。ホテルの前はレストラン街で遅くまで外で食事をしても、すぐホテルに戻れ、イスタンブールの街を堪能できました。

ليلتين سيئتين - تنذكر وماتنعاد
فندق سيىء جدا ، الأسرة غير مريحة ، لايوجد اهتمام بالنظافة جئناهم الساعة ١٢ وقالوا نصف ساعة نجهز الغرفة ورجعنا بعد ساعة ولم تجهز وذهبنا وعدنا ولم تجهز دخلنا غرفتنا الساعة ٤ مساء تماما، أخبرونا أنه لديهم نقص في موظفات التنظيف. من جهة أخرى موظف الإفطار ماأعرف اسمه كأنه يظل زعلان ومعصب أخذنا شاي أثناء انتظار الغرفه وقال لنا أنه ب ٧ ليرات الكأس . الفطور : لايوجد شيء سوى كم صنف محدد فقط حجزنا فيه ٥ ايام والحمد لله ظلينا يومين وخرجنا لسوء الفندق أخذنا فندق مقابل لهم تماما الليله ب ٧٠٠ ليرة فقط ويوجد مكينه لصنع الشاي ايضا) كانت الليله لديهم بمايعادل ١٢٥٠ليرة( فطور شي رائع والله كأنه اربع نجوم والجماعة بشوشين وضحوكين النظافة : لايوجد اهتمام بالنظافة المناشف لاتتغير فقط يتم تصفيطها. لايوجد في الغرفة مكينه لصنع الشاي أنصح الجميع بعدم زيارته
