Worst stay ever

I have never ever experienced or even saw atthe worst motel in TVs such a hotel with such a very bad of everything. It was extremely depressing

Carpet heavily stained in bedroom and common parts, poor bathroom with mould, bedroom chair broken. Would not return.

Staff is really perfect, late check out was free. The location is really good for all commodities but a bit far from Sophia and topkapi.

Hotel Kervansaray, Istanbul - Taksim

I expected to get a queen-size bed but the room that has a queen size bed is very small and different from the separate beds room. Therefore we decided to get the separate beds and they put them close to each other. After we stayed in the room, there was no internet connection, the fridge was down, and the A/C was not working properly. We called the reception, they told us nothing can be fixed at that time and the will fix them in the morning. I also tried to get an adaptor for the laptop but they did not provide me with one and asked me to buy. After the internet was fixed, we found it very bad, everytime you change the website, you have to login into their page. Moreover, most of the staff attitude was bad and they were rude. I was really considering changing the hotel, but I did not find any nearby hotel within the same price. I will never go to this hotel again.

Nice hotel, the staff were helpful and friendly, the price was fair, more of a three star than four star hotel but very comfortable, would recommend.

It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed. It was unconfartable. It's a 2 star hotel, definetely not a 4 star! The hotel service was not good. No hot water. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Don't Let Them Cheat You

Everything seemed more or less fine at the hotel till the last day, January 3. We asked a man at the reception (who was on duty all 4 days of our stay) for the easiest way to get a taxi to the airport. The hotel is located within a pedestrian zone so we asked if they could order a taxi to come to the hotel or we would have to take our luggage to a taxi stop (it was not far). The receptionost told us that if they took us to the taxi stop themselves we would be safe, otherwise they couldn't guarantee we would not be deceived by local taxists. We agreed. And at the end we were cheated into paying the taxist twice the price. The trick is simple. You give them a 50Lires note and they show you a 5Lires one claiming that this is what you gave them. At the airport there was no time to argue, besides we didn't expect cheating - after what they assured us of at the hotel. I am not sure the man at the reception had no share in that taxi cheating business - considering how insistent he was in talking us into using his services...
