central and convenient

Pros: Comfortable room and wonderful Terrace with views over central Istanbul and the Bosphorus.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Location: Perfect location for most of the great sites in Istanbul.
The hotel facilities were limited but everything worked well, including the shower, and small problems were quickly solved by staff. Excellent. We were two hours late arriving but the airport to hotel transfer arranged by the hotel was still waiting. Great.

It was a pleasure..

The best hotel experience ever!!!

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Amazing staff personnel, optimal location, cozy rooms and cutest little balconies, the best rooftop breakfast with unbelievable view to the whole city
Cons: Absolutely nothing. This was the best hotel and the best hotel service that we have ever witnessed.
Location: We really enjoyed the service and atmosphere at the ''Fener Fish Restaurant'', we also like "Optimus Cafe and Restaurant" for late night hanging out.
My husband and I stayed at Nena end of March 2015. We are beyond pleased with the quality of service Tarik, Rauf, Mehmed, Sedat, Zelal, Fatma, Gulabi, and Yuksel have provided for us. Every single one of the staff members at "Nena hotel" are sincere, kind, helpful, fun, knowledgable, surprisingly well spoken in English. We have had such a good experience thanks to these wonderful people that we are eager to plan another trip to Turkey just to stay there again. Apart from the wonderful staff we are impressed with the delicious breakfast, the unbelievable rooftop view from the hotel at breakfast (with the option to go outside), the convenient central location. We particularly enjoyed lounging at Nena's outdoor closed garden seating area with couches and tables, this area of the hotel has hundreds of versatile plants. It is as if you are sitting in the garden but you have a glass roof and glass windows all around you, that open up if needed. But it was lovely being there especially when it started to rain, listening to the rain over our heads. This hotel really has style, and people who manage it really have taste. If you are going to Istanbul anytime soon do not think twice about picking a spot to stay, this is a win-win choice. If you are going to be staying at "Hotel Nena" please say hi from Alexandra (Canada) and Konstantin (Uzbekistan).

Hotel in super Lage

Posted Apr 27, 2015

Freundliches Personal, nette Zimmer

Posted Apr 22, 2015

Great vacation in Istanbul

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Best location, walk to Blue Mosque, shopping, Grand Bazar, restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was pleasant and had amazing views.
Cons: Besidess a comforter in the bed I would like to see sheets. I am 6.1 ft tall. The bed was too short. We stayed in the luxury room/great views
I will suggest hiring a tour guide to travel through Istanbul. We hired Julia through the hotel. She was very knowledgeable, took us to all the places we requested and was very pleasant. We paid 80 euros for 8 people for the entire day. For most of the sites the tour guide can get you in without doing the long lines. Istanbul is a must see!!!
