Unique hotel close to historic sitesPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Hotel was happy to store luggage for us while we went on a side trip. They will also arrange airport shuttle that you can pay for upon arrival.
The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to all the major "must see" sites in Istanbul. It is old and the rooms are tiny but it is clean and reasonably priced and perfectly located. Breakfast is included and served in the glassed-in top floor with views to die for.

Nice location but to be desiredPosted Sep 27, 2013
Things were good per location. But noise all night. Door kept jamming then would lock us out. No tissues and air didn't work. Some mold around shower. But great staff and cafe excellent

I had a very good stay. The location of the hotel is brilliant. Walkable to Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, Spice Bazar & also the beach.

Clean and met basic needsPosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place provided all the basics - a comfortable, clean room, with air conditioning, and breakfast... and internet. The staff was friendly, spoke english (most), and was very helpful. We would definitly stay here again especially since its location is PERFECT!! Close to the tram, sights, and great restaurants. You'll feel safe here. Everything was within walking distance.

Great locationPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Location location
Cons: Air conditioning didn't work which was uncomfortable in the middle of summer
Location: Blue mosque and the Hagia Sofia was a stone throw away
The hotel is old which we didn't and expected though the lights went out in the bathroom during our stay and where not fixed on the other side the location was excellent and we were able to walk to everything.

Great LocationPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: The breakfast. The staff.
Cons: I think they could do more to make the beds more comfortable, welcoming.
Location: Location is incredible. Right outside your door are the monuments of the hippodrome and the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Cistern, and Topkapi palace.
The only real disappointment about the room was that it didn't quite match the description on the sight. The website boasted great views, but we had a great view of a wall. The bed was two singles pushed together, each single had its own sheet - so my significant other and I couldn't quite sleep together under the same sheet and one of us was constantly lying on the crack. That being said, the room had air conditioning and wireless. The hotel breakfast was very adequate and varied and the view from the breakfast parlor was excellent. The location at the edge of the hippodrome was incredibly convenient, and the staff we encountered were all very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a budget place to stay, this one is perfectly acceptable. Location, as they say, is everything.

Location is amazing!Posted Aug 12, 2013
The hotel has an excellent location in Sultanahmet. We were able to see the Blue Mosque from our window and the rooftop terrace had an excellent view of the mosque and the main square. It is close to the trolley line as well and easy to get to. Our room was spacious and the shower had excellent water pressure. The room could have been a bit cleaner but our sheets and towels were clean and comfortable. The rooftop terrace is actually enclosed in glass and quite small but offers a decent complimentary breakfast in the morning and operates as part of the restaurant at night. The food at the restaurant was just ok and better options can be found elsewhere.
