A modern hotel in the Sultanahmet area.Posted Dec 2, 2013
Newly decorated hotel in the Sultanahmet area with few minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Sultans Palace. The rooms a generous size, very clean and well furnished. Well though it is rated 4 star, however, it could easily be a 5 star hotel.

Very nice hotel in the heart of SultanahmetPosted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: The spirit of hospitality.
Cons: Perhaps the fellows who work at the reception could be more informative. They were always very nice though.
Location: All the main attractions were within walking distance and in a safe place.
Everyone was very helpful from the beginning and our stay was simply fantastic. The neighborhood is safe and the hotel is close to the main attractions, including the tram. The breakfast was to die for and the room was quickly cleaned. I would definitely return to the Innova in the future.

shame they could be really goodPosted Jul 11, 2013
Cons: new hotel policies
Location: almost everything in old city
they have a good location but at breakfast they charge for fresh juice, they charge for freshly made eggs, they charge for capuccino. They will not let you keep YOUR water in YOUR room in their mini bar. This is not the 4 star i am used to! Could be so much better if they weren't so greedy.

Very clean, modern, would stay here again and agaiPosted Dec 4, 2012
Cons: Food brought in from outside is frowned upon. But for good reasons due to certain careless guests. They had no problems with me however.
Location: Convenient but the environs are too touristy. I would not suggest shopping and eating around here. Too commercial and not "Turkish" enough.
I stayed at this hotel in December 2012. It is located in the touristy part of Istanbu. It is a modern, extremely clean, comfortable place with very helpful and friendly staffs who speak very good English. The breakfast is an exotic combination of Continental and Middle Eastern specialties but always the same every morning. Hotel is equipped with other facilities such as meeting rooms, exercise room, bar etc. I cannot comment on any of these because I did not use these facilities but considering other amenities these looked to be above average. Everything sparkled and the elevators were clean and always worked. Bathrooms were hygienically sanitized. Replacement of towels was adequate and only tardy on occasion. If one wants to know the real Turkish culture then one must avoid shopping, eating in the neighborhood. Nevertheless this hotel is an excellent choice to be the base from where most interesting places are easily accessible. The old Istanbul is within walking distance. The tram station is nearby from where places like Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Taksim Square, Eyüp are within easy reach. The Eminőnü tram station is five minutes away from Sultanahmet station. One can find ferries from Eminőnü to the Asian side and ferry tours of Bosphorus. Most buses to almost every part of Istanbul leave from Eminőnü pier as well. I believe that using Expedia.com enabled me to get very reasonable price from this hotel. I will most certainly stay here again.

Wonderful property in the old city.Posted Nov 28, 2012
Pros: Modern. Great location. Welcoming staff.
Location: In the heart of the old city. Walking distance to the blue mosque, topkapi palace, the grand bazaar.
Fantastic hotel and a very good value for money. In the middle of the old city. Very modern and comfortable rooms and a fantastic view from the hotels balcony. The front office staff were very hospitable and welcoming and we had everything booked by them from taxis , tours, restaurant bookings etc. A big thank you to Celine and her team who took care of us during the day and Salahettin and his team in the evenings. Will definitely stay there again next February. Keep it up.
