Very nice, if simplePosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, breakfast (free fresh-squeezed orange juice certainly helped), helpfulness of the staff
Cons: Nothing. The building is old, but that is definitely part of its charm.
Location: The location is superb, within walking distance of the Haggia Sophia, Topkagi Palace, The Blue Mosque, Old-City Cistern, also transportation is nearby
We were very pleased with the service, cleanliness and, of course, the location.

Great location. Very close to all the major sight.Posted May 30, 2014
Great staff. Friendly and helpful. I really enjoy being so close to all the sights like Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and Sultanahmet Mosque. Also many other interesting sights such as the basilica cistern, grand bazaar and galata bridge not too far away.

excellent hotel for position, food and service.Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Position Friendlines Helpful Excellent service
Cons: a lift...as stairs would be difficult for someone with arthritus etc.
Location: Excellent location right next to TopKapi Palace, and walking distance to all sites in Sultanahmet district. Trams are excellent and easy to travel on
Hotel was in an excellent position, right next to the walls of the TopKapi Palace and round the corner to the restaurant road. Service was excellent, where the staff were ready for us, looked after us and helped us with places to visit and how to get there, all making our stay smooth and hassle free. Breakfast was excellent. This was an ideal place to stay for 3 days site seeing in Sultanahmet, where all the sites were in easy walking distance and close to the restaurant area for evening dinner. A very enjoyable visit and we would certainly recommend this hotel.

Great location, very supportive staffPosted May 25, 2014
Pros: location, breakfast and staff
Cons: Many guests leave keys at front desk when they go out, but they are out in the open and staff not always at the desk - not very secure
Location: Lots of sites within a short walk and local restaurant zone
Excellent location, very close to the major tourist sites and easy to find. The breakfast is lovely and extensive with the best fresh squeezed orange juice ever! The room was small, but all you really need as you are not spending much time in the room in such a great city.

Ishak Pasa A home away from homePosted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The best hotel experience of my life. The service was bar-none out of this world. It felt like these people were awaiting their long missed family. The front desk crew bent over backwards to accomadate. They were beyond polite - truly warm kind and servile. The breakfast was a lovely anticipated treat - as the cook is a trained culinary artist. Crepes with cherry preserves egg crostatas an asortment of tea cookies etc. She enjoyed creating new food possibilities and the fresh squeezed oj wad served on the spot non-stop. Iatanbul was heaven because of this exp. Thanks so much Ishak Pasa
