Nice hotel, pretty close to all main locations.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Overall nice. The food variation is not quite big. We stayed 7 nights, by the fifth day we stopped eating breakfast since it was the same everyday. Other than that the staff and especially Ali is great. They upgraded us to sea view since we booked first at high rate then before a week while checking their website, we noticed a reduced rate. After sending them email about it, they did a free upgrade from standard room into sea view over the golden horn.

Good hotel close to main interest sites

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Clean and breakfast area at the top of the hotel
Cons: The hotel could offer tours and trips for guests and a shuttle as part of the room cost would compensate the location.
Location: Not much to do very near the hotel -unless you want some tools- but all amenities in Istanbul including the tram is at walking distance
The hotel was nice however, it is located close to many tool and ironmongery shops. I am myself interested in tools and power tools and all kinds of things to do DIY but taking your partner to there is another thing. I must say I liked the fact that it was located close to the new metro bridge which is quite good as a jogging experience in the early morning. Taxi commuting to Sultanamed (blue mosque) area is very close and the funicular to the top of the main shopping area is at walking distance. Galata tower is quite close. If you dont mind the surroundings it is a very good hotel with good breakfast and overall service. Taxis are easily available in the front door.

Best roof in the city

Posted Jul 26, 2014
Checked in around 5PM and went straight to the roof. Amazing view! In front is Fatih Camii, Suleymaniye, Nuruosmaniye, Yeni Camii, Aya Sofya, Topkapki, and behind os Beyoglu and Galata tower. Great view of the Horn, Galata bridge, and Eminonu water front. I had breakfast up there every morning and drinks every evening before dinner. 5-10 min walk up the hill to Galata Tower and the start of Istiklak Cd for dinner and bars and 10-15 min walk and your across the bridge and in the old city for bazaars and sights. Great place. If you want a view from your room make sure to book it on the correct side of the building and above the 6th floor.

Our favorite hotel

Posted Jul 2, 2014
As a family we travel a LOT and this is my favorite hotel. We've stayed twice. The rooms are small, but not cramped, and VERY clean. The location is great for catching a quick ride by taxi or public transport to the old city (even walkable if you're up for exploring). The 10th floor restaurant (where the breakfast buffet is served) has a stunning view of the city. The best part of the hotel is the service. Everyone from the front desk to the chambermaid makes you feel like you are an honored guest at their home and they are really happy to have you.

unexpected little gem

Posted Jul 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
this hotel was a total unexpected gem. the surrounding area might look sketchy, lots of businesses around however located close to Taskim square and the port made it worth. the room view was amazing and the breakfast on the top roof made it totally an amazing experience. The staff was super friendly and accomodating, highly recommended. Istambul is beautiful

Nice hotel, but the location is not quite good

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: The clean room, the top roof where the restaurant is located, a beautiful scenery. Plus the food.
Cons: The entrance of the hotel should be more attractive .
Location: Take taxi and in 10,15 minutes you are at the most historical areas.:the
We had some difficulty to fin the hotel , the surrounding area was very crowded, but it wasn't far from the attraction area's the food was amazing, the service and staff were very nice , some of them speak English . I defently come back again .

This hotel was satisfactory

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Location was good. Roof terrace was a nice addition. Cleanliness good.
Cons: The breakfast was of a poor standard and would put me off returning; the options were limited and it felt like an after thought.
The hotel is located in an isolated location in terms of not being near any restaurants or other hotels. However, it is a 5-10 min walk only from Galata bridge or the new train/foot bridge; both of which bring you into the centre quickly. The hotel was clean and tidy but ininspiring; it felt slightly more like a hostel. The rooftop restaurant/bar is a nice addition where you can take breakfast, lunch, dinner or just drinks. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast which was of a poor standard.

Very clean and friendly staff

Pleasant stay. Lovely roof terrace restaurant. Area not the best as not near main attractions. Good value and staff can't do enough to help make the stay pleasant. Good food. Very comfortable.
