Excellent, superb, outstanding

Pros: The staff were outstanding
Cons: Nothing
Location: Good street and great location in Sultanahmet
Millenium Suites is a small 6-7 room hotel located on a nice street in a very good area of Sultanahmet close to many sights, shops, markets, and restaurants. Those things alone made it a "5". But, the absolute best thing about the hotel is the staff. From Alper, the manager, to all his assistants and other staff, we were treated like VIPs and like friends. After having stayed in many hotels of varying classes and types in many cities around the world and in the US, I can say without hesitation that never has a staff been better or more eager to please. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: The staff, the location, and the overall high quality of the room.
Cons: No lift, but that's par for the course in the Sultanahmet area. Note they do have a room at ground level for disabled or elderly guests.
Location: Great for sightseeing all the major historical attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace are a 5 minute walk away). Felt safe.
This is our new benchmark for boutique hotels. The staff deserve special mention, as they were uniformly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The room was spacious, bright, comfortable, and well appointed. Our room was facing the rear courtyard, so it was nice and quiet. The mini bar was complimentary, as were a number of thoughtful toiletries that are not standard at most chains. Wifi was also included free. The location is ideal for sightseeing in Sultanahmet, within easy walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, etc. It's also surrounded by myriad restaurants, which were consistently and genuinely good -- nothing about them felt or tasted watered-down, although they were clearly tourist-oriented. A taxi stand is 30 seconds away, and the Sultanahmet metro station is about a 10 minute walk. The area also felt very safe in the evenings, despite the fact that (in the off-season at least) it does get relatively deserted late at night. This is great if you want a restful trip, but if you're looking to be where the local nightlife is, consider another neighbourhood like Taksim square or Beyoglu. Overall we highly recommend Millennium Suites.

Unforgettable stay

Pros: Very friendly staff, be sure you will be treated like you are the only special guest
Cons: -
Location: The hotel is located in the very heart of the old town, just 5 minute walk to all major historical sites ( Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia, Topkapi Palace..)
We stayed in the Millennium suites for 3 days and had absolutely great time!!!! Though it is a small hotel in the heart of the Old town I am sure it is one of the best. The staff is very friendly, helpful and hospitable, many thanks to Mr. Alper and his colleagues who made our stay unforgettable. We would definitely stay in Millennium suites next time)))

Wonderful hotel in Sultanahmet

Pros: Attention of the staff
Location: Excellent
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We couldn't believe how fortunate we were to have gotten a reservation at this boutique hotel. We were treated like royalty by the staff. The location was excellent-only two blocks from the Blue Mosque and the Haghia Sofia and well within walking distance of other major attractions. The street on which the hotel is located is lined with fine restaurants including the one at the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice and well appointed. When we return to Istanbul we will only stay here.

Recommened boutique hotel in good location
Posted Jan 30, 2012
Pros: Service
Cons: Size of the room
Location: Ideal
Highly recommended. Even though they lack some of the amenities of the big hotels, they surely make up in terms of friendliness and courtesy. The rooms are slightly smaller than standard but well decorated and clean. Another selling point is its location. Very conveniently located compared to the bigger hotels

Very nice room and excellent service, in the heart of what you most likely will want to experience. Would def consider the hotel if going back to Istanbul.
