“Believe the hype”
We booked this hotel after reading almost universally good reviews for it on the internet. Having stayed there, we can only add our voices to the chorus. The staff were incredibly polite, and couldn't do enough to help; the hotel was immaculately clean, with a terrace bar with beautiful views of the Marmara sea; the room was well appointed, with a good en-suite shower, television, fridge, hanging space, and a safe. The hotel is very well situated for the grand bazaar, and is a 10-15 minute walk to the Haggia Sophia and Sultanahmet Mosque. A stop for trams, which goes to the dock from which Bosphorous cruises embark, is a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel's airport pick-up service, deails of which are on its website, comes highly recommended.
“A hotel with perfect staff”
I stayed at Niles for 5 nights with my wife. The hotel is located very near to the Grand Bazar, so location wise it's perfectly situated in the old part of Istanbul. The hotel itself is small, relaxed and quite. The staff are AWESOME. Upon arrival we had a simple orientation on the city by receptionist Kemal who was very attentive to all our needs throughout our stay, recommending placed to visit, things to eat, and arranging bookings if necessary. The breakfast is really good and the roof, where breakfast is server, is lovely. Selma will meet you there every morning with her warm and welcoming smile, an excellent start to the day :) Yimlaz was also amazing and helpful. Overall we enjoyed it, and think it was the right choice. You don't need to hesitate on choosing Niles, you simple get what you pay for, and a bit more!
“Traveler Review on this hotel was right!”
I chose this Hotel Niles purely based on the Traveler reviews which said their hotel service was the best. They were right and I'm glad we chose this hotel. It's a small hotel, but in a great location in downtown Istanbul, clean, comfortable, with a great terrace restaurant on the roof, and best of all, their service. Their front desk manager was very helpful in giving any tourist directions you needed, and the owner of the hotel was ever present.
“a rare gem”
a budget hotel of 1st class quality in all departments.
“OUTSTANDING”
OUTSTANDING HOTEL FOR PRICE. SERVICE EXCELLENT. ROOM SPOTLESS. ROOF TERRACE GREAT.VIEW FROM ROOM WINDOW IS SUCH THAT IT IS BEST TO KEEP CURTAINS CLOSED
“A conseiller absolument !!!”
Un personnel plus que charmant, disponible et aux petits soins, des chambres très propres, un accès à internet gratuit. Emplacement idéal, vraiment à deux pas de toutes les visites. Rien à redire.
“Will definitely go back to the hotel when in Istanbul”
The hotel offers a 4 star experience for a 2 star rating. Standard rooms are kind of small but clean. We moved to the suites after 3 days which were twice the price but very much worth it and still cheap for comparable quality. The neighborhood is mostly commercial but conveniently located a walking distance to many cultural and historical attractions, mid-scale shopping and dining, and public transportation. The full breakfast is great and the terrace where it is served offers an enjoyable experience with views of the Port. The staff are lovely and very helpful.
“very nice”
I book two rooms for my parents and brother. We stayed there for 5 nights. hotel Personnel were great and helpful. The hotel was very clean. breakfast was very good. Location was not far from the main attractions in Istanbul. If I decide to go back, I will seriously consider to stay in the Niles hotel.
“Great value for money”
This lovely hotel is in a great location, a short walk away from all the main tourist sites. The staff are very friendly, accomodating and always ready to help with directions and advice. Breakfast is fantastic, a lovely selection of home made cakes and pastries. All in all a very enjoyable experience
