A lovely little hotelPosted Dec 19, 2014
Pros: Rooms Staff Location Value
Cons: Wi-Fi Internet speed Breakfast Two room keys, not one to share!
Location: Great location for tourists and old city visitors
Small intimate hotel. Very good location convenient for the tram and walking to old city sites and Grand Bazaar. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean comfortable well equipped rooms. Very good prices in minibar and for transport to and from airports...they don't try to exploit guests. Free Wifi but it is slow, this could be improved. Breakfast restaurant and bar on the top floor has a nice balcony and a rooftop and Bosphorous view. Breakfast from 8am, means late starts and the spread is good but not great, typical Turkish. Bottom line, we keep going back....have not found anything better for price and location and staff quality.

Schönes Hotel in sehr zentraler LagePosted Dec 17, 2014
Pros: Die Einrichtung der Zimmer, das Personal und das Frühstück.
Cons: Wer keine kleinen Zimmer mag, sollte evtl. die nächst größere Kategorie wählen. Unser Zimmer hatte ca. 2,5 x 4,5 m.
Location: Große Bazar (ca. 5 Gehminuten), Blaue Moschee, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi-Palast, Yerebatan-Zisterne ca. 10-15 Gehminuten.

The hotel is small and old, with tiny rooms. But it has a convenient location, helpful staff and a fine rooftop terrace.

Cute boutique hotel with friendly staffPosted Dec 11, 2014
Cons: The initial scent of the room took some getting used to. They must use some very strongly-scented cleaning supplies.
Location: The area immediately surrounding the hotel gets pretty quiet at night, so you'll have to walk a bit to find nightlife options.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, convenient location to walk to Grand Bazaar or to catch the tram, and great breakfast on the rooftop terrace (there are both indoor and outdoor sections to it). The room was fairly spacious and very clean.

Istanbul mini breakPosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Attentive, pleasant, helpful, and polite staff. Fantastic view while having breakfast in the roof top breakfast room.
Cons: Instructions on how to use a Turkish bath!
Location: Set on a quiet street not far from a busy main road and tram line. Lots of sites to see within walking distance.
This was a lovely small hotel within walking distance of all the major sites. Also very handy for jumping on and off trams to go further afield. We had a very pleasant and memorable stay here.

Nice hotel close to historic attractionsPosted Dec 1, 2014
This is a nice hotel with a location close to a number of historical attractions. The restaurants nearby were all pretty much the same and catered to tourists. The room was rather small, but clean and comfortable. Overall, this isn't a 'luxury' hotel but is fairly priced and easy to reach.

Very Good HotelPosted Nov 25, 2014
Pros: The Staff and the rooftop terrace.
Location: It is very near the Grand Bazaar and a ten minute walk from the Blue Mosque. A tram stop is moments away.
The Staff in this hotel are exceptionally kind and thoughtful. They go out of their way to make sure that your visit to Istanbul is enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything that we required. There is a safe, slippers, tea making facilities and a reasonable TV. Free wi-fi. The roof terrace is lovely with views to the sea and over the rooftops. Breakfast was also very good.
