Small friendly hotel, well located.Posted Apr 18, 2014
Friendly atmosphere from start - apple tea while completing guest info. Front of House very helpful. Rooms rather minimal but everything necessary provided. Good breakfast in roof top bar. Location a little more 'real' than peak tourist areas, handy for fish restaurants, Grand Bazaar, Suleiyman Mosque and easy walk to Hagia Sophia, Toplaki Palace etc.

Small room, but perfect stay.Posted Apr 13, 2014
The location, staff, breakfast and price was perfect. The standard room is small, but this is normal for Istanbul. If looking for more space, do a upgrade. I'll remember this little cute hotel forever. Those people make us fell home.

Great location, lovely staffPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The staff & location. It's not a huge hotel so we felt like we were getting a really personal service from the staff.
Cons: Nothing - just keep up the excellent work. We would definitely choose to stay at the hotel again if we visited Istanbul again.
Location: 5 mins walk to the Grand Bazaar & 10-15 mins walk to the Blue Mosque, Sofia Hague & Topkapi Palace. Tram stops also 5 mins away. Plenty of restaurants
Hotel was walking distance to the main attractions including the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque & Grand bazaar but away from the main road hustle & noise. Staff were all polite, helpful & lovely.......even arranged a surprise cake on my birthday : ) Our room was cosy but bright, clean & had all the amenities. Free wifi is excellent. Rooftop terrace for breakfast & any other time of day is fantastic. Enjoyed the variety of food offered for breakfast especially the homemade produce. All the staff were extremely attentive & would offer great advice with regards to sightseeing & restaurants. The hotel also offer to arrange a taxi service to collect & take you to the airport which we would recommend if you are arriving late in the evening.

Magical hotel for magical cityPosted Mar 31, 2014
Cons: dont modernise its charming as it is
Location: Great central location but very quiet at night
if you like a small quiet old fashioned, spotlessly clean hotel with the friendliest of staff choose this. Delicious buffet breakfast on the roof terrace overlooking Bospherus with our own turtle dove visiting every day. Staff speak excellent english and it is a ten minute fascintating walk from the major sites.

Nice hotel near the tramline.Posted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Location, facilities and staff.
The Niles is very comfortable and clean and the staff are helpful. The room is not massive but you don't come to Isanbul to stay in your room. The fittings are all modern and clean and everything worked. Breakfast is fine and the views from the rooftop are a bonus. Afternoon tea is complimentary. You are near the tram line which makes travel across the city very straightforward. We struggled a bit to find it as Niles is pronounced nee-les locally. Recommended.

Friendly hotel in the heart of the Old CityPosted Mar 19, 2014
Excellently located hotel for the Old City sights of the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Only a couple of minutes walk to the tram stop for connections to the other parts of Istanbul. Staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Spoilt for choice at the breakfast buffet.
