It was a pleasure staying in this hotel.... It was in the heart of the main istakal street one of the most happening area in Istanbul . The rooms were very clean and impressive. The staff were really warm, we'll knowledgable and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends visiting Istanbul . Specially the hotel manager was very helpful and had a good eye in giving excellent service. ''Keep up Team Odda..... You all have left a very warm and a lasting impression on us... WE WILL SURELY COME BACK SOON. Cheers"....

Pros: the staff and the room
Location: very central. with shops and many restaurants and bars near.
The hotel was very central, new and very pretty, the room was comfortable but most important of all was the the staff which were extraordinary, they made us feel like we were at home. It was my boyfriends birthday and the staff members surprised with a cake and candles a wonderful gesture The experience in the hotel was superb. I strongly recommend this hotel and i am definitely coming back when i return to Istanbul.

In the middle of it all, well connected

Pros: The friendly staff who helped us whenever we hit a language barrier.
Location: Galata Tower, Taksim Square, clubs, bars, restaurants, and one of the oldest hamam.
This hotel is a gem in the developing, fun area of Beyoglu, a little bit off the beaten track. We had a very spacious air-conditioned room, 601, quiet, located at the corner facing away from the bigger street going by the hotel. The staff was always friendly, extremely helpful and responded to requests within minutes. While the room was a match of old and new, for example the bathroom tiles were stained in places and some were broken, the room was otherwise newly renovated, with new, clean beds and mostly new furniture. The cleaner did a good job every morning. Breakfast was rich with Turkish specialities, ranging from egg dishes to cheeses and baked goods. Nevertheless, it also had continental breakfast choices, including yoghurt, muesli, scrambled eggs and sausages. With this rich breakfast as a base, we lasted until dinner with only a small snack in the afternoon. There is always somebody at the reception, we felt safe and well taken care of. In terms of location, the hotel is ideally located between Taksim Square and Galata Tower, a bustling area, full of clubs, restaurants and shopping opportunities. The area is reachable via a funicular, connecting to the T1 tram line that brought us to the Old City with all its historical sights within 15 minutes. The funicular also ends directly at the piers where ferries to the Princes Islands and the Asian side depart. We were very happy with the hotel and would stay there again any time!

This is a very cute hotel that is located in a great location of the city. It's very easy to get to any where in Istanbul you wish visit. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and there are a ton of bar and restaurants very near. The one big problem is if you are a light sleeper this would not be your hotel. The hotel is across the street from an extremely loud night club that you hear until 5 am.

So lovely but......

Cons: Get that awful club shut down and this would be the perfect place to stay in Istanbul
I loved so much about this hotel. The staff were fabulous, friendly and so helpful. The room was lovely with a really nice hot big shower and the most comfy bed I ever slept in. The pillows were so nice I wanted to steal them, and there were plenty of spare blankets for the chilly nights. The location is fabulous, close to restaurants, bars, shops and away from the main tourist sites on the other side of the Golden Horn - I say this is a good thing because it is such a nice walk, through the streets, over the river with fabulous vies and onto those attractions. BUT the problem I have is the noise. I appreciate that to stay in a good location, you may experience noise, and I live on a main road so I am OK with noise BUT there is a nightclub right outside the hotel. Strangely I didnt notice much about it on the Fri-Sun nights, but on the Monday night (as I was due to leave Tues morning) it woke me up when it opened at 11pm. It proceeded to play loud techno music until 530am. The front doors of the club were wide open this whole time. I only finally managed to get to sleep when I put one of the lovely plush pillows over my head and it drowned most of the sound out (a testament to how thick and lovely these pillows were!!)Up until this point I was so excited to give this hotel a 10/10 but I just cant now.Even if Odda was just two doors up I think the experience would have been acceptable, but right outside your room until 530 on a monday night? Not good

Good, small homey hotel

Cons: Breakfast buffet wasn't as warm or as cold as American expectations, but still good.
Location: Lots of bars/clubs (above), many restaurants and shopping within 1km (being so close to Istiklal Cd.), and historical sights. Çukurcuma Cd. Is close.
Upon a very late check-in, they had everything running smooth. The elevator was nice, as many buildings in that part of Istanbul are stairs only. My roon was rather spacious, with a nice comfy bed and clean white sheets. The bathroom was nice as well, with a window that overlooked a nice scene. My qualms were some mold on the windowsill in the bathroom, which is understandable because the bathroom fan was out of order, and the windows were not very sound-proof (being on a side street with 18 bars/clubs within 50m, it gets fairly loud at times). Both very minor, and I WILL stay there again when I return to Istanbul. I stayed at the hotel for six nights.
