2 minutes to Taksim SquarePosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Breakfast. Great Location.
Cons: Tiny rooms.
Location: Taksim Square a 3 minute walk away. The hotel is positioned near the German Embassy.
Great Breakfast. In room Wi-Fi. Tiny Rooms - but modern bathroom. Street noise on the w/end due to taxis. Roof top deck with views of Bosphorus. Husband and I booked a hamman; disappointed when I got there they only had a male to do a female (so I didn't have one). Husband loved his experience though (is this normal in Turkey?)

close to Taksim city centerPosted Oct 30, 2013
Cons: Change the variety of food served on breakfast
breakfast is lawys the same. for 6 days we ate the same stuff. the staff are not well educated about their city & how to get around the room had some sewer smell & had to keep the window open. we booked two rooms , one room size was ok, but the other room was awufully small

5 Minutes from Taksim SquarePosted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: The hotel is modern and very clean. The braekfast is buffet style with a good selection.
The Hotel is within easy reach of all of Istanbul attarctions. The best way to get to them is via a tram which costs £1 (3 lira) for an unlimited journey, or walk in less than 5 minutes to Taksim Square. It is situated on a main road, but noise is not an issue, but should you decide to walk up to it from the water front you could find it very steep.

NOT A 5 STARPosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: buffet breakfast. views.
Cons: Turn on some lights! Also, consider a small carpet under the rollaway so it doesn't slip, slide, and ultimately sandwich someone in.
Location: Taksim square is a good 15 min walk uphill. Lots of stores, restaurants etc.
Great breakfast buffet. Not quite in Taksim square so be prepared for a walk uphill. Their triple room consists of two single beds and a rollaway which slips and slides on the laminate flooring. With all the slippage, the bed decided to close up with me in it! Hotel staff decided to put a mattress on the floor which is where I slept for two nights. The hotel is rather dark and dingy but has a lovely view from the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel, in a quiet locationPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great hotel, not very expensive, room was beautiful, we got the city view room- It's a good idea to upgrade in Istanbul because they have in most hotels rooms that don't have windows! We stayed before in a tiny room in the old city, this was a huge improvement, felt like 5 stars, good breakfast, fabulous view of the Bosphorous from the restaurants, a nice little swimming pool and very decent gym (There's also a spa). Hotel and room are beutiful, with clear attention to details. Internet was not great, we had to sit next to the door for reception. Also, it was far enough from Taksim square so you wouldn't have to go there if you don't want to (It was quiet during our trip, just a lot of police waiting for demonstrators who never came). It's very close to Domalbahce palace and the Bosphorus. Overall a very nice stay, I will go there again if I'm back in Istanbul

Great location- great hotelPosted Jul 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel- helpful staff etc. Comfy beds, nice robes and all the little things that make you feel pampered. View from the bar/rest are AMAZING-- great place to go and just watch it all- nght or daytime- both views were incredible. Only downsides (which didnt bother us but...) are that the pool doesnt get much sun but great to cool down mid-day and the hotel is at the top of a pretty steep hill. Best to get off tram at Taksim Square and walk OVER than up from where the Bazzar etc is. GREAT place though- we would deff go back

No five-star hotelPosted Jul 6, 2013
Pros: Clean and conveniently located
Location: Taksim nightlife area is close by.
That hotel is perfectly okay. However, it gives you nothing of the five-star experience. The building is close to Taksim Square with its nighttime attractions, but the entire walk is under construction, so you have to make your way between speeding cars. Shower sink did not work properly, so the room naturally got soaked with water. Ordered king-size bed, got a double. The room has moldy smell to it. Air con is noisy and apparently did not work at night - cold air started to pour in around 5.30am. Internet worked in the lobby only. Towels are thin, one set only, no drier rack. The breakfast is basic to put it mildly: there was not even egg station, just make do with boiled eggs.
