“Great Hotel to stay at”

I can only talk about the room I got which was the royal suite which was amazing with a terras and it has a very nice view on the water. Room was very spacious and clean and just very modern and beautifull. The staff was very helpful and professional. The restaurant on the roof top was simply AMAZING .. food wise and the view was breathtaking. Too bas the restaurant is not very well advertised because it is really good.

“Spectacular View, Helpful Staff Make Great Stay”

We stayed at the Opera Hotel for a total of five nights in two different rooms (changing rooms only because we returned to Opera Hotel after visiting Cappadocia). Our entire stay was magnificent. The accommodations and services provided by the hotel were excellent all-around. The location, a five-minute walk to Taksim Square, was ideal. Both rooms were clean, comfortable, and came with an incredible balcony-view of the Bosphorus. There was no street noise to interrupt a peaceful rest. The television was operable and the rainfall shower refreshing. iPhone docks and chargers were available. The appearance was contemporary and sleek. The room's only shortcoming was that there did exist a mild to moderate sewage odor from the bathroom (as mentioned in other reviews). It wasn't devastating but certainly noticeable. The hotel staff was polite and helpful with our questions, and requests (currency exchange, extra towels, cot, luggage, etc.) were promptly fulfilled at all hours of the night. They spoke and understood English well. The hotel breakfast was delicious, varied slightly each day, and had a regular spread of fresh cold-cuts, cheeses, fruits and vegetables. Overall, our stay at the Opera Hotel was great and we would recommend it to others looking to stay in Taksim.

“Elegant Hotel”

Very good location, clean and elegant hotel. However basement rooms have humidity therefore has a bit smell. Luckily you are able to open the windows for fresh air. Overall great hotel.

Stayed there with my gf, enjoyed my stay, a bit expensive for the services they provide and that they didn't have an ironing machine so u can pay for their 5 Euros per piece Laundry for ironing.

“Great hotel for family with see view”

The hotel is located on top of a hill, and has a great view on Istanbul Boghaz, hoever this advatage is only for the rooms on the boghaz side the other views are very normal. Also the standard rooms are located in the basement, and it is not comfortable at all.

“Quiet hotel, centrally located”

Quiet location, short walk to both Taksim Square and to Kabatash. Mostly European clientele, many families, few tour groups.s Absolutely fantastic views from the rooftop restaurant/bar - breakfast included and great, only complaint is weak coffee. :) Rooms are nice, beds extremely comfortable. Not a lot of places for dinner close by - must walk beyond Taksim Square, so be prepared for that. I will absolutely stay here again!
