The staff was so incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had an unexpected layover in Istanbul and decided to make the most of it by visiting the major historic spots and this hotel made it SO simple. We were able to walk to shop and eat very easily between the Hagia Sophia, blue Mosque and Basilica cistern with no problem. The restaurant at the hotel was unreal. The food was absolutely delicious and again, so hospitable. 10/10 recommend this absolute hidden gem.

Good property. Excellent location. Staff were very friendly and helpful as we had someone in a wheelchair and they helped every time. The upgraded room shower room was beautiful! Room was a very good size. Only feedback would be more options at breakfast. But otherwise very good!

Ottoman Imperial is a gem. It is a quiet location and easy walking to everything you want to see in Sultanahmet. The staff is some of the most helpful and kind I have encountered. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The Michelin starred restaurant is not to be missed whether you stay or not.

Perfect location. Lovely room. But guests in a nearby room smoked and the smell of smoke came under the door into it room throughout our stay.

Great, clean, comfortable and spacious room. Very friendly staff. Everything worked in the room. Breakfast was a good spread from traditional Turkish food to English selections. We never got a chance to eat supper there but it was a Michelin award winning restaurant. Prices looked reasonable. Excellent location close to local transport, restaurants, shops and mosques. Would highly recommend.

Awesome location
The room was vey small and the toilet extremely small, a bottle of beer 10€, other than that great stay, well, he breakfast was not good at all. (sorry). MIke Great location and service.

Best location for seeing the sites!
The hotel staff were all very helpful and accommodating. They even lent us a transit card for the trolley system. The beds were comfortable and the whole property was very clean. You can't beat the location for seeing the sites in Istanbul.

wifi was flaky. English spoken by staff very rudimentary. reception desk pretty eager to sell you extra services: airport shuttle, tour packages. breakfast adequate but rather unimpressive compared with years past.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks, the area is amazing close to all tourist attraction, staff are friendly, breakfast was boring after few days, standard room was too small specially the bathroom, the room needed update, good for three days stay not a long time, I will rate it as a good hotel but not excellent.

Great hotel for sightseeing in Istanbul. Location is perfect - very close to the major sites in Old Town. Getting into and out of Old Town is not easy with the traffic, so it's really nice to stay within walking distance to so many of the sites. And the staff is excellent, especially the front desk staff. They were very helpful in making suggestions and reservations. The rooms and breakfast are modest, but the hotel is a great value in my opinion. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is an ideal location directly across from Hagia Sofia and in close walking distance to many Istanbul attractions. Hotel is beautiful and clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again

The Ottoman Hotel Imperial has the best location for visiting the major sites in Istanbul's Old City. The hotel is on a quiet walking street and only a couple blocks away from the Topkapi Palace and literally next to the Hagia Sophia.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The decor was lovely, and it's situation by the UNESCO site whilst in the heart of the social part of the city was unrivalled. I would choose to stay here every time, as it was a peaceful oasis right in the centre of everything

Serving staff were great with smiling faces, but not the management at the desk. Horrible bedding - you can feel the springs. Rooms as well as bathrooms are very small. Opening a large suitcase is a challenge. Entire furniture and doors need to be refurbished or replaced. Only one elevator for entire building in a corner near the kitchen probably designed for service staff only. Breakfast and dining area are ok and that may be the only reason that we can give 2 stars to this facility.

Everything was great except the WiFi connectivity was horrendous. It was a big issue for me because I already had very slow data connectivity with my cell carrier and then after a long day of being out I couldn’t even wind down on my phone. It was insanely frustrating. I contacted the reception multiple times and they said they would send a technician to my room which they never did. Furthermore, they wouldn’t share the password to the WiFi connection that had the strongest reception to my room. That was the icing on the cake for me. Other than that everything was great. But not having proper WiFi in this day and age is a major problem.

The Staff very helpful and they arranged a Van for the Airport. The Rooms are well kept and maintained. literally next to Ayah Sofia and museums - no need for Taxi. Also its steps to Trolley / train line that you can use - location was great for us. and again the staff was great.
