Very Close to main Attractions.Posted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: Location was excellent, Breakfast was good, Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The standards of the rooms and everything I have mentioned.
Location: located near of all the main attractions in Istanbul. The Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Bosphorus, Spice Market & many more.
This hotel is located in centre of all the main attractions. The Blue Mosque, The Grand Bazaar, Aya Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Bosphorus, The Spice Market and many more. It's only 3 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and 5 minutes walk to the Grand Bazaar. Everything else is also closeby. Electricity: We had 2 blackouts, at the first power cut the only thing working was the phone line, it was a terrible experience when you are with your family in an unfamiliar place. I called the reception and they didn't know that we had no power and seemed very surprised but sent someone to fix it. I don't know whether it was just our room without power or entire hotel. A few days later we had another blackout and this time even the phone wouldn't work so I decided to go down to reception but few minutes later power came back. Water: The water in the bathroom would stop running randomly Wifi: Always disconnects and we had to ask for password many times. Door Handles: Dodgy and unstable and card reader would not work all the time so had to keep going back to reception. AC/Heater: Not working properly, the grill bit of the AC/Heater fell of the ceiling unexpectedly and could have injured anyone of us. Also every night there would be a very strong cigarette odour coming through the vent. Bed Sheets: Sheets and the beds were stained. Tissue Holder: Falling of it's wall and does not hold tissue roll. When I complained, they said every room has the same problem.

Ideal Location in a modern environmentPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Location and the new modern rooms
Cons: The Staff should have more information about whats going on in Istanbul, whats new
Location: Great location, very ideal as it is near all restaurants, shops, bureau de change, supermarkets... you can do everything by foot in Sultanehmet
I have stayed at Pierreloti many times before it was refurbished and I am very surprised by how well they modernised it. It is perfectly situated opposite the Grand Bazaar, right in the centre of all shops. Breakfast is amazing and you can treat yourself with a turkish bath, scrubbing and massage

Disappointing ExperiencePosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Great location, good restaurant, and good roof-top patio. Great views from the roof-top
Cons: Better customer service - they need to learn to accept things that have gone wrong and CORRECT them instead of dodging and denying the situation.
Location: Good location, close to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya as well as TRAM line.
Overall I was disappointed with my overall experience at this hotel. The staff were unfriendly at times, couldn't communicate clearly in English, and we had a number of issues with our room.

modern classy hotel in the center of sultanahmetPosted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: The location was perfect!! Staff were very helpful!! Room was beautiful!!
Cons: Room size
Location: Perfect location on the main st of sultanahmet area ..
Nice and modern hotel with an amazing roof top restaurant, the best thing about this hotel was the central location we were with in walking distance to all major tourist attractions!! We would definately stay here again! The only negative is that our room was quite small but big enough for us as a young couple.

The room and location are fantastic, the staff gave us clear direction of places we want to visit, however, gave us misleading price on taxi fares...

Great hotelPosted Jun 29, 2013
The rooms are small but comfortable. Very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's right next to the metro station. Walking distance from all the historical sites. I was there with my sister and had a great time.
