Excellent location for sightseeingPosted Mar 22, 2014
Wonderful location to explore some of the historic sights of Istanbul. A short (in some parts hilly) walk from the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace but a peaceful retreat at the end of a busy day. Hotel rooms were of a high standard and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the catering staff were helpful, especially when it came to our attempts at making Turkish coffee!

Brilliant place to stay for the tourist experiencePosted Mar 19, 2014
This hotel was super in every way. It has spacious and comfortable rooms, a superb restaurant facility, and best of all very helpful staff always willing to help. We stayed with friends for a 4 day break to get to know Istanbul, and were delighted. The location is ideal, just minutes away from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and what for us seemed to be the centre of the city. A little further, but still walking distance are the grand bazaar and the Suleymanje mosque. Our room (we were upgraded to an executive suite) was delightful, spacious, with an extremely large bed, and a Jacuzzi bath. The breakfasts were delicious. Overall we were really happy with the quality of our short holiday. Nothing is perfect, but our stay in the Rose Garden suites is as near perfect as can be.

Lovely little hotel in great locationPosted Mar 4, 2014
Stayed at Rose Garden Suites for a long weekend. It was our first visit to Istanbul and we had limited time so wanted to be close enough to the major sights. Rose Garden Suites is mere minutes away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar in the heart of Sultanahmet but still in a nice and quiet location so that you don't feel like you're in the middle of a 14 million people metropolis. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean and comfortable and you have all the amenities you could wish for. May I just mention the beds, and the pillows - you will never want to sleep in any other bed again! The staff are all very friendly and helpful, a special thanks to Ramazan who made breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant a pleasure! When you stay at Rose Garden Suites do not miss a visit to the Stone House Restaurant just down the street. It is a family run Kurdish restaurant with excellent food and the staff will treat you like family!

Nice hotel in Sultanhamet districtPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: The staff were lovely, it's a great area and the food was fantastic. Also, huge super comfortable beds and immaculately clean rooms. Cute cats too!
Location: easy walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Cisterns, Hippodrome etc etc. Interesting area to just wander and get lost in.
The staff were friendly and really helpful (let me change my room twice!), rooms very clean and some have nice views. Rooms facing street a bit noisy so good to check if that will bother you. There is a great restaurant attached and the breakfast buffet was worthy of a 5 star hotel.

Nice hotel near blue mosquePosted Jan 31, 2014
The rose garden suites / garden hotel is ten minutes walk frm Sultanahamet tram stop . You walk past the blue mosque and Bahia Sophia to get to it. The basilica cisterna is also nearby. The district has lots of other hotels in the little streets around it but I thought ours looked as good as any of the others. It was good value and non pretentious. I was very happy here.

Stayed for 4 days with a friend, great time had by all. All the staff were a blast, and they are a very chilled group of people. Scenery was lovely.

very nice hotel and close to everythingPosted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: the staff and service. the food was great every morning as well
Cons: for the price, we can't really ask for more
Location: it is very close to the blue masque. but also close to all the tourist stuff in Sultanahmet. My wife and I did not need a car or taxi .
we enjoyed this hotel on our 3 day stay as this place was close to everything in Sultanahmet , the staff were great, rooms were good and the breakfast was great every morning I thought I would share this story, on the day we left the hotel the hotel's front desk staff ordered a taxi for us and after an hour in the airport, my wife realized that she lost her phone in the taxi. I called the hotel and they were very helpful in tracking the phone and the taxi I would recommend this place to everyone
