Close to everythingPosted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Location, easy walk to Blue Mosque and close to tram line
Cons: Needs a lift
Good location close to most of the important icons. Staff speak reasonable English. Downside no lift, some rooms very small. Checked in ok but given wrong room, which only came to light when I asked to be moved from this very small room. Staff quick to move us but to a room where we could only stay for two nights then needed to move again for our last night there. I believe this happened due to miscommunication between checking staff and bellboy.

Uncomfortable hotel, good locationPosted Jul 13, 2014
The bad: - The air conditioning was not working. It was on, and air was blowing slightly, but it was not cool. We asked the hotel staff and they did nothing. Therefore we had to leave the windows open to keep from dying. (We were there in July). It was loud outside with cars honking, call to prayer, seagulls... Not ideal. - The pictures of the rooms online look big, but in reality it was a very small room! (And they told us all the rooms are the same). - The sheets and towels had holes. - The hotel staff did not speak English very well and were not able to provide good help/advice for seeing the city. The good: - The location was perfect, right in the old district. - Breakfast and the rooftop terrace were nice, but terraces are standard in Istanbul -- if you want an EXCELLENT panoramic view, go to the Adamar Hotel in old town! I'm not someone who likes to give bad reviews, but I was really surprised at the low quality after seeing the great reviews on Expedia!

Nice boutique hotel in heart of sultanahmedPosted Jul 4, 2014
Very nice hotel. Very close to Blue mosque and Aya Sofia. Many options for restaurants and cafes. Tram very close as well as grand bazaar. Everything within walking distance to enjoy the amazing sultanahmed area. Very safe area. The hotel devised j to two buildings, the original one and another renovated one called Sarnic Premier hotel. I recommend strongly to book in the second hotel since it is serviced by an elevator too and connected to an amazing view restaurant to sultanahmed mosque and sea view. Minimarket just next door. We faced a problem of water disconnection as well as absence of hot water in the day of check in by chance. Managers confirm that this is not regular and it caused by water company, do they give me three rooms instead to satisfy our needs instead of the triple room we booked. Staff we're very cooperative and friendly staff and so helpful. Regardless of that problem, everything was perfect and can not wait till my next visit to the capital of the world.

Excellent hotel - good value for moneyPosted Jun 22, 2014
We stayed for 4 nights and could not fault this hotel. It's close to all the sites and is excellent value. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nice hotel close to all major cites, great staff!Posted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Staff, location. Garden area for breakfast. Rooftop terrace for dinner.
Cons: Breakfast choice are sufficient, but could be better.
Location: Near all sites. Very easy to navigate as on a main road, but road noise didn't bother us even though our room was 2nd floor right on the street.
The staff really made this hotel a great place to stay!! Everyone was very friendly and responsive, including emails prior to arriving, airport transfers, activity planning, directions and advice on where to go.

Never again they need to update this hotel decor and provide a more interesting breakfast. Not value for money

Great short break.Posted Apr 29, 2014
Pros: Great location with friendly staff and very very clean. Turkish style breakfast also good. Did not have dinner there so can't comment on evening meal.
Cons: Heating / air con did not work nor did the only plug point in the bedroom, so hard to recharge phones and camera. Reported this twice to no effect.
Location: Location near Blue Mosque really excellent and lovely view of the mosque from the top floor restaurant where we had a drink one night
Great 6 night trip with lots to see and fabulous shopping in the bazaars. Really enjoyed walking around, seeing the sights - mosques, museums, markets and great meals in restaurants close by. "West Town" was the most lively restaurant area, Arasta Bazaar the most expensive place to shop. Tokapi Park especially lovely in April with thousands of tulips. Trips on ferry up Bosphorus and Golden Horn fabulous too;also easy on local ferries, using Istanbul travel card, as tourist boats were expensive.

I have stayed at the Sarnic three times , it is very well situated , clean and very comfortable . I have only stayed overnight each time , but would gladly stay for much longer due to its situation in Sultanahmet
