“Sarnic Hotel”
Convenient, superb location! Clean, up to date large room with every convenience. Our suite overlooked the Blue Mosque and was within walking distance of Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, The Basilica Cistern, The Archeological Museum, The Grand Bazaar and many other sites, restaurants and shopping.
“Great new hotel in great location for good price”
Very good hotel for such price. Great location for visiting old part of the EU part of the city.
“Sarnic April 2012”
The staff were very helpful during our entire stay and nothing seemed too much of a problem, including phoning THY airlines when we needed to confirm changes to our onward flights, and also phoning our car rental company in Cyprus as my phone was out of credit, and you can't top up a Cyprus Turkcell in mainland Turkey.
“Great hotel for a couple”
Great hotel for a couple! Very nice hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent location
“Absolutely perfect!”
My Husband and I stayed there and LOVED it! We would stay there again. The location is perfect, the hotel was quiet, the rooms were very nice with a comfortable bed and down comforter with a nice bathroom. The extras were great, such as the bathrobe, bottled water complimentary, candies in our room as well as shampoo and conditioner! My Husband didn't love the breakfast, but it didn't matter a bit! We are early risers and often don't return to the hotel until we are exhausted, so hotels don't really matter to us, but this is a hotel we could louge in and really enjoy! Highly recommend... Less than 5 minute walk to tram, and 3 minute walk to hippodrome.
“Easy Location”
The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is closely situated to the Blue Mosque and has easy access to public transportation. The front area of the lobby could use a good scrubbing and new paint, but other than that the accommodations were fine. Our hotel room was used for sleeping; thus, it was perfectly acceptable for the price.
“Great Stay at Sarnic Premier Hotel. Sultan Ahmet”
Hotel staff are just great and friendly n speaks good english. We were welcome by Sidat at Reception with smile, he explained everything what a tourist needs to know, Driver Mamdouh picked up us from the airport was kinda guide explaining us diff places on the way from the airport, bellboy sorry i forgot the name) was so helpful, Yokun at Reception made us feel special, Housekeeping ladies were just great and fulfilled all our needs, young lady at Breakfast was quite charming, serving the guest with the smile on her face. Location is great, cant be compared, just 5 minutes walk to Blue Mosques, Hippodrome,7-8 min walk to Aya Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Tramline, 15 min walk to Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazar, there ferries can be taken for Bosphorus trip n morning n evening..We did nt have to use Taxi at all, all the tourist attractions are just short walk away, there are plenty of Local restaurants in the area opens until 2300. Look for Gardenview room, comparitively small but quite. Would love to go back to this Hotel
“The Hotel is in a very nice area.”
the hotel in a very nice and in a quiet area, in a walking distance from the most important touristic places the room service was the best at the hotel, the kitchen staff need to be more helpful and smiling, same breakfast every day without any adding any item all the 8 days that i stayed ( if u like the Turkish tea don`t try the one on the breakfast cuz they serve deferent tea with a better quality to the staff only). I was there as a honeymooner and they don`t do anything special for honeymooners, the front disk assisted me a lot with info and arranging visits , the pick up from the airport was perfect and with a reasonable price. I was there at winter time so there was no need for the AC, my room had a view to the blue mosque but there was a construction kind of blocking the view .
“Bad start but nice time after all”
The premier is much better than the non-premier hotel. We asked for a pick up at the airport that never arrived and then the first night they did not have our room in the premier so they put us in the non-premier-sister hotel. This was not a good start. However, they apologized and gave us a free dinner which was okay. Getting to the hotel is very easy and cheap if you want to take the time. All you do is get on the metro located at the airport (get metro map at info counter in airport, at change machines located in front of metro entry you can get tokens-you need 2-with 5, 10 and I think 20 TL notes). You have to make a change from metro to tram but it is SUPER EASY. Take to Sultanhmet stop, walk past blue mosque to hotel. We were happy to do this. Then to get back to airport just take 5 E shuttle that stops at a few hotels to get other people but very convenient. The breakfast is not very good in my opinion but I have a very healthy diet. Lots of cheese, yucky looking meats (which I took everyday to feed cats in the neighborhood), cucumber and tomatoe (which is not my kind of breakfast food) and orange sugar water which is said to be orange juice. I liked the yogurt and the fruit but missed any whole grains. My husband and I buy granola or museli in the super market. Hotel is close to many sites. I went to KADIRGA Hammam and enjoyed it.
