Sheraton in Maslak, just so-so

not a good location for tourism. room is big. staffs are not very friendly, though they get things done.

sheraton mazlak instanbul

I've stayed here many times in the last few years and this place is going downhill. It's showing its age and they're not doing anything about it. The biggest frustration is their commitment to turning off the AC at night, even when it's 25 degrees in the room. Their explanation is that "it's cold outside.", which is helpful information, if you want to sleep outside.

Regarding your complaint about room temperature;we would like you to know that the architectural style of our property, unfortunately we only have one pipe line valid at our building. That leads to us having central air conditioning system, in this case, during the passing periods of the seasons (spring and fall) we might face some problems. During these periods, if our guests do not use the A/C systems in their rooms, the problem that they might be facing will be solved. For our guests who have special requests, we may provide electrical air coolers or heaters. For futher information or assistance you may need , please do not hesitate to contact us directly... Brief stay, but comfortable

Short stay with very little time to enjoy the hotel. Staff was very prompt in getting Internet signal working in my room, eventually through the use of an Ethernet cable. The bath/shower was the only issue. The tub would not drain unless I pulled the plug all the way out. And the valve to operate the shower vs. the bath did not work properly. Otherwise, a good stay.

Tyckte det var fånigt att man skulle vara tvungen att köpa en badmössa för 10€ för att få tillgång till bassängen när det stod fri entre.

We spent a weekend at the hotel when it was stormy outside, and rain drops poured inside. Otherwise, everything was good.

Won't be my first choice

Stay was ok. On reaching the hotel, it was disclosed that I have to pay EUR 18 p/day for internet and so many other hidden charges (that was such a let down). Bar was worst, just some ordinary sweets and fizzy drinks (another wasted money). The only plus point was location, as it was near the places I was looking to visit. The lift in hotel was so shaky, I would rather take the stairs.
