So, I don't have much to say about this hotel as I only stayed there for one night, however, I would recommend it if it is just a one or two night stay that you are looking for during your stay in Istanbul.
Regarding the hotel, upon arrival, my partner and I were issued a basement room, which isn't ideal for anyone, however as stated already, we only stayed for one night so it wasn't really a problem. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable, there wasn't much space but I didn't exactly want to start dancing so space wasn't too important. The bathroom was also fine, however, the water from the shower flooded the whole bathroom because there wasn't anything to stop that from occurring. Essentially, for money, it did the job, a place to sleep and close to things we wanted to see!
In regards to the area of the hotel, it is relatively small, and slightly confusing to find as it is located in a bazaar type area, (our taxi driver had to stop and ask at least four other taxi drivers for directions, all of whom looked a little confused themselves!) As well as this, the hotel is close to famous landmarks, but again, remember hotels or restaurants along the way if you are walking around in the area as you can easily get lost! Apart from getting lost though, it is quite close to everything, realistically, and without getting lost, I would say its roughly a 15 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hippodrome area, and then taxis and buses are available everywhere to take you elsewhere.
To conclude, very good value for money, and would definitely recommend if it is one or two nights stay you're after!
