“Super-Hotel für einen Istanbul-Aufenthalt !”
Bei diesem Hotel stimmt wirklich alles: Lage, Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Freundlichkeit, Service. Alle Attraktionen in unmittelbarer Nähe, wunderschöne Terrasse zum Frühstücken mit atemberaubendem Blick. Perfekt !
“Location, efficiency and valued comfort”
We had a wonderful stay at the Sultanhan Hotel between June 12 and 15 2008. The location can't be beat, just off the busy main street that leads down to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and up the road to the grand bazaar. There is a tram line that runs on this road and the stop is very conveniently located, we found this a wonderful respite for transport when we were otherwise tired of walking - which we did a lot of. Although located next to the main line, the setting of the Sultanhan is in a quiet but spacious alley and the hotel itself is very nice, clean, the staff very gracious and efficient and we couuldn't have been happier.
“Charming Place and Well-Located”
This place provides terrific value for the price. Rooms are comfortable and have all the necessities. The hotel has an appealing traditional look with antique furniture in the lobby. The lobby also has an excellent, comfortable bar where we were made to feel quite at home. The service is lovely--English speakers should have no problem. Breakfast comes with an tasty assortment of both traditional and savory options and a terrific roof deck view.
“Fabulous location”
The location is fabulous - just steps away from the main center of the old city and from the tram. They were really helpful and very friendly. They even allowed us to store our luggage there while we were on a week long blue cruise - which was a tremendous help for us. I would recommend this hotel.
“Excellent choice”
Had the most wonderful time! The hotel was in such a good location - in walking distance of all the 'hot spots'. The staff were very helpful and the views from the restaurant were amazing! Would definately recommend this hotel.

This Hotel is of a very high standard & vey impressive, right in the heart of Sultanahmet (the old part of the city). The views from the rooftop restuarant is fantastic, the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn & all the Mosques are clearly visible. All the staff are very pleasant & so helpful, the quality of the food & the presentation are excellent. It's location is ideal, only between 200m to 500m from most of the main sights that Istanbul is so well known for. Would certainly recommend this Hotel to anyone & we will be using it again on our next visit, as their is so much to see & do, that it impossible to do everything in one visit.

“Perfect Location!”
This hotel is in the most perfect location. One can walk easily to seven of the "Top Ten sites" of Istanbul. The hotel itself is charming, great service and a lovely rooftop setting for meals. We requested a triple room, non smoking, and we were delighted the bed for our daughter was a true bed and not a cot rolled into the room. The hotel is located on a quiet dead end street, yet the "metro" is only one block away. Lots of shopping and places to eat nearby too.
“excellent location”
the hotel was located on a quiet street and yet very close to the heart of istanbul. near all the major sites by a short walk. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. the rooftop view is excellent and the complimentary breakfast was more than sufficient. there is wireless internet available. we forgot our laptop and they were kind enough to lend us theirs.
“Ruhige zentrale Lage in Istanbul”
Sehr zentrale und dennoch ruhige Lage in Sultanhmet. Zimmer sind sehr großzügig und schön gestaltet. Frühstücksdachterrasse bietet umwerfenden Ausblick. Frühstücksbuffet bietet viel Auswahl, die aber während meiner 4 Tage Aufenthalt nie variierte.
