Very nice hotel and staff, the check out process took 10 seconds, breakfast was amazing, Room view was very fine, its location is perfect train at the back, tram and bus in front. It was amazing experience, this hotel will be my first choice if I ever visit Istanbul back.

“Incredible hotel!!”

The hotel is great!! We've got the room with the big jacuzzi and view to the Marmara sea and everything was great. The hotel location is perfect, if you're on vacation in Istanbul this is the place to be. Very close to the most important places and with good nightlife (restaurants, bars, etc.). Our rate had breakfast included (buffet) which is gorgeous, they serve plenty of local food as well as the usual international stuff. The hotel also has free wifi and a pc in the lobby if you don't carry a laptop. Definitively a place to stay.

What a perfect holiday! Everything was superb, from the travel (no delays) to the hotel location, the service from the hotel staff was superb throughout, food excellent, beautiful room. Hotel staff had good English and were extremely helpful in suggesting and organising activities, providing directions to places, and were all very happy and eager to please. Well done, Sumengen, and well done Expedia for providing us with a fantastic experience.

“Good on ya Sumengen”

We had a nice stay here while we rocked around Istanbul. We booked a double room but on our arrival we were given a twin. However, upon pointing this out they upgraded us to a "deluxe" suite on the top floor for the remainder of our stay. Good service, friendly staff and it's great having cake for breakfast.

“Spot on”

We've stayed at the Sumengen 3 times now. Each time the quality of the hotal has improved greatly and all rooms are now of a very good standard. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and this time was no exception. The hotel is situated close to all the tourist attractions in the sultanahmet area (Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi) as well as local transport links. There are a number of restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walking distance all of which serve lovely food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. If you fancy going further afield to Galata or Taxim, the tram is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Istanbul is a fabulous city with so much to see that we've only scratched the surface. We will definitely go back and will definitely book into the Sumengen

The Hotel is small, very clean, very cute, the staff is excellent, two blocks from Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque, pretty little restaurants and stores on the streets nearby, it really is very recomendable!!
