“Central location”

We stayed for five days in the Allstar and chose the hotel based on previous Tripadvisor user feedback. The hotel staff was very helpfull and friendly. The hotel was located central to all attractions and transport. The only negatives were poor AC in middle of the summer temps and the mattress was quite firm; ie box springs w/o mattress? Despite all this the price was acceptable.

Traveler's tip
There are numerous hotels, motels, B&B's in the old part of Istanbul. Just make sure you are close to the tram line.
