Wonderful safe location and friendly stuff.Posted Dec 13, 2014
I travelled alone and felt very safe there. (The maid even left the tip I left in tact when I come back to the room.) Just a step away from tram station and every major spots were in a walking distance. Breakfast was awesome. Took massage at the last day in the spa within the hotel, it was great, too! Absolutely recommend. Thank you guys, I'll come back :-)

Brilliant location in the midst of it allPosted Nov 28, 2014
Had a brilliant time in Istanbul. Very comfortable hotel with all facilities including kettle, tea bags, mineral water everyday, hairdryer. Breakfast was lovely. Can't complain at the variety of food for breakfast. Really friendly staff. Was impressed when I came back to hotel with a burn on my hand and they immediately got me an ice pack. Thank you so much for making my stay comfortable. Very much appreciate the hospitality

Sixth return to the Ambassador Hotel, IstanbulPosted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: I"ve said it above.
Cons: It is value-received.
Location: It is walking distance to the Topkapi, the Cistern, the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia, the Egyptian Obelisk. Renovation underway Islamic Art/ Culture.
We have stayed at the Ambassador every visit to Istanbul since our first in 2001. It has now been updated in significant ways without becoming more expensive. The terrace restaurant is one of the best views of the Sultanahmet I know.In the morning, it feels like being back in the Byzantine/Ottoman Eras--no traffic, no sounds except of the birds over the sea and the minarets. We love it! The breakfast buffet is even better, too. Lots of the wonderful local items, esp. the honey--even in its comb now!

Fabulous staff, location and views!Posted Nov 17, 2014
The three most outstanding features of this boutique hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet are: Its location, its staff and its views from the roof terrace. From Sinan and Erol on the front desk and Jerry at the bar to Sezgin and Dariya in the 5th floor lounge and terrace, the staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating. Views from the terrace – whether over the wonderful breakfast buffet prepared by Dariya and served by Sezgin or with a glass of wine at sunset – are breathtaking. Located not 100 meters from the Sultanahmet tram stop, it is within an easy walk to virtually every principal site in the old city or a short tram ride to everything else. The rooms are small, but comfortable – and can be noisy (especially on lower floors) at night due to the lively night scene. The staff also provided helpful advice on everything from how to use the transit system to sights to see and places to shop. (The latter, however, should be taken with a large grain of salt – this is Istanbul, after all!) We would stay there again and recommend it without hesitation.

高評価が理解できないPosted Nov 12, 2014

Colazione a cinque stellePosted Nov 6, 2014
Superconsigliato.
