Just beautiful- highly recommendPosted Jun 6, 2015
We stayed in Istanbul just over a week at the HH- Galatasaray. It is visually spectacular and the staff are fantastic. We travel regularly and always try to stay in unique/boutique hotels. This is BY FAR, the most beautiful. It's located in the old town just shy of taksim Square which is a good place to get around from. Make sure you go to Zubeyir for kebabs! Thank you Kaan and the rest of the team for a wonderful experience.

A hotel full of character in a great neighbourhoodPosted Jun 5, 2015
Pros: Great location in Beyoglu/Cihangir districts, with plenty of choice for cafes, restaurants, bars and small, boutique-style shops.
Cons: Decorations a little tired, particularly walls between bathroom & bedroom, (although bearing in mind this is a refurbished elegant period mansion)
Location: Close to the main Istiklal Caddisi which runs from the Tunel funicular to Taksim Square. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and good transport.
A really good choice of hotel, one of the House Hotel group and situated in a refurbished mansion not far from the bustling Istiklal Caddisi thoroughfare. Bear in mind no lifts, so a 5 storey climb to the breakfast lounge, but well worth the effort for the views. Rooms are full of character: ours had a seating area as well as bedroom. Perhaps a little shabby, but this almost added to the charm. Charming and helpful reception staff. Comfortable bed, good bathroom (rainforest shower), 2 x flatscreen TVs. Good buffet breakfast in the 5th floor lounge (which also serves drinks in the evening) which has fabulous views and decorated in private club style.

Lovely Stay in a Beautiful HotelPosted Mar 12, 2015 on Hotels
Had a lovely stay here for 5 nights. The room was big and clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful and the location was fantastic. My boyfriend had contacted them to tell them it was my birthday and they gave us a complementary bottle of red wine which was such a lovely touch. The neighbourhood couldn't have been better, in the middle of beautiful winding streets and close to everything. The only very small issue I had was that we booked a Junior Suite which happened to be on the ground floor right next to reception which was a bit loud in the mornings and you could hear everyone coming and going. The view was also not good, it was a wall which was disappointing, you have an idea that when you book upgrades you are naturally higher up and have a view but it was not a big deal at all and everything else more than made up for it. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone going to Istanbul.

Great hotel and the staff couldnt be more helpful.Posted Feb 1, 2015
Pros: The style and the breakfast. The area of taksim is also a good place to base yourself as the restaurants are fantastic. The staff are helpful
Cons: The noise from outside at night
Location: The area around is very trendy with bars and coffee places
This was a great hotel with excellent facilities and a superb breakfast. The room was fantastic but there is a bit of noise at night from the outside restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend this hotel though in a great part of istanbul.

The smell... AmazingPosted Dec 30, 2014
I loved everything about the hotel from the amazing staff to the beautiful room, and the beautiful building and the breakfast (really nice). The only two things I can critique are that there is no lift, so that was interesting and the shower is some futuristic pod capsule in the room but that was also not 'bad' and I liked the attention to detain with the quality of the toiletries. Really lovely hotel stay. It was great and I'd go back again ;)
