It is a quaint french inspired hotel. There is a small grocery store and fresh fruit/veggie stores next door. Friendly and helpful staff. My room was a little apartment with a small kitchenette to do your own cooking. The breakfast inclusion was varied and of high quality and ample. It is close walking distant to Taksim square so central to everywhere. I highly recommend this hotel.

tea Marion follows hotel Istanbul is a family hotel in the city center the welcome is warm the boss and the staff are attentive to travelers they do everything to facilitate your stay. From a good point of view very good hotel and very correct price.

Well the rooms r not at all like what it shows in the images...hotel is tooooo small. Lift can accommodate only 3 persons that too without any luggage. Location is undoubtedly good!! The negative point is the steep steps which u have to take to reach this hotel

I booked this hotel after doing a lot of research. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was given a room that did not at all match the description on my reservation. After seeing the room, I went back to the front desk and said it seemed that I was given the wrong room. I showed him the description (which included balcony, jetted tub, fireplace and more). He blamed hotels.com for the incorrect description and told me there was actually only one room in the entire hotel that had a jetted tub. Although he was not rude, he was not interested in improving the situation - his solution was to move me to a balcony room...if I paid the difference in price. I don't know whether it was the hotel's fault or hotels.com's fault, but regardless, it was very disappointing not to receive what I booked and not to feel like there was any empathy for the situation. The room was also exceptionally loud (and I normally am not bothered at all by noise). On the bright side, the hotel location was good, with convenient access to restaurants, markets and attractions.

Good hotel stay. The hotel is located in a small neighborhood at the bottom of a steep hill. WiFi was ok. We were told that an airport shuttle would cost us a certain price but they never mentioned that it was in Euros until they wanted us to pay and we didn’t have euros. We were on the 5th floor, ceilings were too low we all kept hitting our heads on it

Worst booking
I booked through hotels.com but when we reached there we found no reservations and no available rooms, we stayed around half an hour where they were trying to look for us in a hotel with availble room. First hotel was under revolution and the smell and noise and workers all around, then we came back to the hotel trying to find another. We had to wait more time until the reception is available to take us to other hotel. Coz we were late we had to go by ourselves holding our bags for a long distance and a hotel in bad place where they have no rooms except small one ground floor. Worst booking ever

Fantastic room right behind Taksim Square
The penthouse we ended up booking was comfortable and lavish. The three of us had a ball here. The suite has views of the river and the tiny lane leading to the river itself. Location wise, this is a min walk from Taksim square and the start of Istiklal street. In all, more than happy with our stay here. The two slight concerns we did have are the lack of charging points close to the sofa or beds (just one) and since the ceiling is slanted, some of the spots in the penthouse were a little too low for me (the other two were fine) and I did bump my head and hands a couple of times.

Great location, spacious room, amazing staff
As a three stars hotel it’s really good and highly recommended. The stuff is very kind and helpful, honest and caring. The breakfast was pretty good and generous. Very close to Taksim and Istiklal street within 150 meters only. If we will plan another trip to Istanbul Marion’s suite hotel will definitely be our best choice to stay.

The hotel staff was very helpful throughout the stay. The hotel is very close to taksim square with lots of nightlife, but it can be very loud since there is a club right across the street. The music was playing loudly until about 4am. It is a good place to stay if you want to go out, but is not good if you plan to try and rest.

Good overall experience
The service was excellent and the rooms quite nice. We had two small problems, one was the steep climb to reach Istiklal and the other was a loud club we could hear at night. If you are energetic and have no problem with some exercise and late nights, this a great place to stay.

Great value for money
We stayed in the 'modern suite' for our short family stopover in Istanbul, and it had everything that was needed for a comfortably stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Location is good, a 3-4 minute walk to Taksim Square, even though it involves a steep climb up the hill. A couple of shops and cafes next to it, where one can get food and refreshments at 'normal' prices (rather than those you get just up the road on Istiklal). Absolutely no complaints, and would stay in this hotel again any time.

about the hotel
This hotel has got biggest advantage of the location, close to metro,main market . The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The only thing they have to improve is the reception area ( interiors have to be re done) and the bar area & TV area should be enclosed as the same gives little awkward feeling once you enter the place otherwise very good place. We further request you to please look in to the tariff factor also as the rates are little on the higher side as compared to other good hotels in the area.

Excellent hotel 2 mins walking to taksim square.
Let me tell the experience short and sweet.. 1) excellent staff , they will help you in every thing and I mean every thing. Tell them your problem and they will give you it's solution.. 2) excellent rooms.. We booked deluxe suite and they upgraded it to penthouse suite.. Deluxe suite was very big and penthouse suite was like a dream.. Superbly decorated. So don't worry for comfort.. 3) excellent location :- location was 2 mins walking to taksim square and 4 mins walk to istikal street. So i was at the best possible location.. 4) felt home.. The way the staff greet made us fell home. 5)more than a boutique hotel.. Don't expect for swimming pool or a big lobby.. But decorated overall nicely.. 6) lastly value for money... We stayed in Marions for a weekend and had a real good time there. The staff was super nice an helpful (thank you guys!). The room was big, comfy and clean (which is especialy important when you travel with a kid). We enjoyed breakfasts in the garden and evenings on our balcony. Our kid even refused to go back home as he wanted to stay in our suite and lobby for some more))

Vi var uheldige, for vi havde meget støjende naboer, der var vågne indtil kl.01.00, hver nat. Ellers, vi siger mange tak til personalet for lækkert morgenmad, værelse renlighed og hurdigt for at hjelpe os,da blev det nødvendigt. Stedet/ beliggenhed er perfekt- Taksim Square, hvor man har mange transport muligheder til de vigtigste hovedsteder i Istanbul. Tak for alt!
